Nicole (Nikki) Jerger has been appointed Director of External Affairs for Governor Bush. Jerger previously served as Director of External Affairs for the Florida Department of Education. Prior to that, she owned Jerger Communications Inc., a company based in the Tampa Bay area, specializing in public and governmental relations. Jerger is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University. Her appointment is effective immediately. She replaces Brandi Langford who resigned October 15 to pursue a career in the private sector.
