The girlie-men on this editorial board seem to have forgotten that this is wartime. Suspected terrorists in cahoots with those who rape, pillage, shoot babies, behead civilians with hacksaws, blow up children with Down's Syndrome, and fly jet planes into buildings don't deserve any sort of kid gloves treatment. Mr. Bybee's memorandums demonstrate only common sense and a distinct will to live, not a bloodthirsty hankering for vengeance as the girlie-men seem to believe. We live in perilous times, and perilous times call for "swift and terrible" action. Perhaps some of our finest have gone overboard at times. Boo hoo. There are a few bad apples in every barrel. However, if their methods extract intelligence, they have my kiss of approval. The worst part about these pathetic ninnies is that if something catastrophic were to occur here or in Europe in the near future, these same folks who carp about torture and the Patriot Act would be the first to pirouette around and roast President Bush for not doing enough to prevent another attack. You just can't win with these pansies.

When will these fools figure out that this is WWIII and we are in a fight for our lives? Marquis of Queensbury doesn't apply here, anymore than it did during WWII, Korea, Vietnam or the Cold War. We are not fighting the military of another nation-state, therefore, the Geneva Convention doesn't pertain, in most of its aspects. Morons! Just like charging that Marine officer with "murder", how foolish!

Give these maggots to the Tijuana Municipal Policia. In 15 minutes, they'd tell you anything and everything you ever wanted to know truthfully!

How come we were able to fight WWII without torturing our POWs?
