You posed a question that you didn't know the correct answer to. The correct answer is that any bullet fired from a barrel forms an arc, a curve. The 40% who siad the bullet would curve were correct. The 60% which presumably includes you who said it wouldn't were incorrect, Pi not withstanding.

The question people got wrong was that if the barrel curves to the left or right, the bullet's trajectory will continue to follow the curve to the left or right.

LOL, it does not curve because the barrel is curved!!

That Discovery Institute has a good course to improve reading comprehension. Before you can enroll you have to buy one of my aluminum hats.

Warning: Aluminum hats preventing mistakes in reading is only a theory and even though aluminum hats are mentioned during the party where that feller turned water into wine, they still had to use oil lamps as electricity is only a theory also.

once the bullet leaves the barrel it will accelerate in the direction of the forces acting upon it, since the barrel is not longer forcing it to the left it will not accelerate towards the left, gravity is still acting upon it so it will accelerate toward the earth.
