That was a major theme of this ad. The irony is of course that the blocked channel control is really supposed to be about parents blocking channels from kids, but here it was the kid and the wife using it to block a channel from dumb old Dad.
Or at least the kid was educating dear ole dad on how mommy was protecting them, like she would talk to a little brother. THAT aspect of it, the attack upon fatherhood, I do find disturbing.
I think I find Geiko's caveman commercials most offensive... I look a lot like those guys.
