Sean, I'm hearing you now. There are some jerks here who attack friends. JimRob usually gets rid of jerks.

He regularly gets attacked here. I don'ty blame him a bit, but he's got to realize that it's just a (very loud, very annoying) minority.

Isn't it possible there are wolves in sheep clothing out there: Liberals who come to sites like this just to stir up trouble.

Does someone want to share with us what is going on, or shall I make some tea and read the leaves?

Most of them are. But there are some (I'm not mentioning names. You'll find them out.) who have been here since 1999-2000 who can't seem to find a nice word to say about Sean, Rush, etc.

I heard the conversation he had--but who was the guy he was talking to about the "situation"? Was he a FReeper?

I think Hannity is a flaccid talk show host. A little boy dressing up in Daddy's clothes (Rush's)

You know he can't resist lurking here to see if he's hit a neve or something. His ego is huge or maybe it's hugh but I see no reason to give him or anyone else the satisfaction of a response to attacks on this board or it members and owner.

I have been critical of Hannity for some time.
So is it now that he has his own blog and is insecure because many others have more reasoned opinions that he a reason why I should now hold my opinion of him?
Sorry. My opinion of him is still that he he playing talk show host w/o really having the stuff to do it. His real objective (and I am OK with that) is to sell himself - not inform.

What is he saying about all this now?
I haven't seen any anti-Hannity posts here, my gosh he is one of our best cheerleaders,(meaning the GOP).

He said he still had friends here but didn't like being attacked by conservative "blogs". There are people that post here that attack everyone--I think they just like to gripe! And I have personally seen people make fun of Sean at times on various threads, but he must have a pretty thin skin for a conservative radio host to let that stuff get to him like that! He needs to learn to ignore the negative stuff just like we all have to.

Gotcha. I'm kind of a rookie here and hadn't seen that traffic yet.
Sounds kinda like Michael Savage, he rarely has a nice word to say about Rush....don't know how he feels about Sean.
To: doug from upland
You are RIGHT, DfU. We have to get rid of the flaming jerks. And Jim usually does just that.

I disagree with your assessment of Hannity. I have listened to him almost from the beginning and I see a person who is getting better all the time. Like any profession, you have to work at it, learn from your mistakes and grow. He is at a disadvantage when it comes to being informative because he follows Rush on most of his stations. By the time Hannity comes on Rush has already covered the news of the day from the conservative angle.
Where Sean informs the listeners is through his guests. Having interviews regularly with Newt, Mark Levin, Dick Morris, Zell Miller, etc. is one thing I like. I believe in the end the marketplace will dictate which talkshow hosts survive and which ones fall by the wayside. Listeners (especially those who listen to conservative talk shows) aren't stupid. If Hannity, or even Rush, start to get lazy and slide they will not last too long.
