The identity of Deep Throat, along with the identity of the target of Carly Simon's song "You're So Vain," is a question I long to have answered.

I thought it was Monica.
Heck, she even testified about it under oath.

I always thought "You're So Vain" was about Warren Beatty.
Why is it whenever I hear "Deep Throat" I now only think of Monica?

Deep Throat is a man, that he smokes and likes Scotch. It must be Lyn Nofzinger.
BTW, I thought the subject of Carly Simon's song was Mick Jagger, which makes it interesting that Mick sings background on the recording.

You know...I've never understood the lyrics to that song:
"You're so vain. You probably think this song is about you."
Well, according to that line and the rest of the song, it IS about me!

The number of potential Clinton jokes from the headline is overwhelming....

Has Carly Simon said she would release the identity of that person upon that person's death, or will we never know?
