Yes, if I recall correctly, that's the way it went. They started with FeeinTennessee's post then used yours as a rebuttal, I believe. You can
click here for page 1 of the online story. Make sure you read all of it. Make sure you continue on to
page 2!

its the simpsons and homer is the priest. What makes you think that they are not MAKING FUN of same sex marriages... sheesh. when has the simpsons ever not made fun of anything. If you have been an old school fan of simpsons you would know that they are the anti P.C. crowd.

I agree. It will probably hit my funny bone rather than offend my political brain. Besides, I'm not letting my kids watch the Simpsons. It's the public schools where our children are social engineered.

I guess it was 1988, or so, when this stupid program first started, and I did NOT like it. I tired to watch it at first. BUT, the utter joke of a family, and the disrespect the kids showed, turned me off. THEN--- I think it was'90, or so, there was an episode, where Bart wanted to be in a skateboard race,or jump, or something, and Homer, his father, didn't approve. Bart said he would do it anyway, and "dad,. you can't stop me". Homer's response: NOT, grab Bart by the arm, and say, "oh yeah", or something, like that. NO-- Homers response to his sons backtalk and disobedience--HOMER SAT DOWN AT THE KITCHEN TABLE, AND STARTED CRYING, CAUSE HIS SON WOULD NOT MIND HIM!!!. That was it, for me ,and the Simpsons. For many years, I have been told"lighten up", or,"it's only a cartoon", and "don't be so serious" NOW... we have homesexuals aganda in this, and other, cartoons. At the same time, the Homesexuals are now bringing their fight against Christians, TO THE CHURCH DOORSTEP., staging their "marches", on church property, trying to force Christians to totally accept their pagan, satanic lifestyle.
Sure, most of you will probably still think, "no problem", it's just a cartoon", and think I am nuts. But, you should know, this is all part of the plan, to get children to accept, at an early age, that Homosexuality, is normal, and that the Christians, are the "Strange", and "twisted" ones.

"I think this was a "jump the shark episode"." At least 2/3rds of the storyline was anti-gay marriage.

", you should know, this is all part of the plan, to get children to accept, at an early age, that Homosexuality, is normal, and that the Christians, are the "Strange", and "twisted" ones. " Then why did they make such an anti-gay marriage episode?

Perhaps I was wrong. I missed the first half or more of the episode. As a long time Simpson fan, I hate to see them get into uncharted water.

It's the only show I watch. Me too. My antenna reception's sometimes fuzzy, so if I could get cheap broadcast-only cable I might. Otherwise, it really is about 95% of my TV watching.

Worst episode ever. I thought that was CABF08.
To my mind, it lampooned the proponents of gay marriage as being a bunch of people who want to make a quick buck while mocking the American family. While the humor may not have been as good as on some episodes, I had no problem with its political bent.
