This will go over about as well as the "new" Coke.

Garbage - not a character at all, no personality - just another excuse to sell action figures, gameboy games, and other merchandise.
Why don't they put some talent into the stories and animation instead of the marketing? This is the same kind of thinking that won't allow Hollywood to make decent movies.
I bet they fixed Daffy's speech impediment too.

I'm not suprised. WB "sanitized" all of the old classic Looney Toons years ago of all cartoon violence, stereotyping, and associated un-PC behavior. Shockingly, they're not funny anymore. 8^(

Why don't they just give him a skateboard and sunglasses while they're at it.

Wow, just call him Poke-Bugs.
Anime has taken over.
This is truly pathetic.

A very "SICK" thing to do. WB should be ashamed.
What would Mel Blanc, Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, and Friz Freeling think of this new rabbit that looks like it came from some Japanese anime action cartoon?

Chef Dajuan said:Yep, they're all out in multivolume sets on DVD. Try Borders.
I have the first volume that was released. You can check it out here. It's an amazing set. All of the shorts are uncut. Many of my favorite shorts are on there, including two with the "Gossamer" red hairy monster, Beaky Buzzard ("Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid"), and two with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. The first disc is nothing but Bugs Bunny, the second is Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, and the third and fourth feature various characters, including Pepe Le Pew and Speedy Gonzales. I remember saying to someone when I was still a kid, "I don't think I'll ever get sick of these cartoons," and I think I was right, now that I am 24.
Speaking of Beaky Buzzard and "Gossamer," here's a page that features some of the "minor" characters in Looney Tunes. Minor Characters

HOLLYWOOD, CA-February 17, 2005 The cartoonists at Warner Brothers have given one of the nation's most-beloved cartoon characters a makeover. Will you like what they have in mind?
The old look of the cartoon character Bugs Bunny is saying "That's all folks!" to the generations who grew up with him. Bugs, the Road Runner and other Looney Tunes cartoon characters are getting a new look and even new names.
The "reimagined" Bugs Bunny is going to be renamed "Buzz" and star in a new series called "Loonatics." The series will be set in the future and will feature a tough-talking rabbit with laser eyes and who is a martial arts expert. Even Daffy Duck will get a techno-update with built-in sonar.
President of Warner Brothers Animation, Sander Schwartz says it was time for a change.
Sander Schwartz/President of Warner Brothers Animation: "What we're doing is taking Bugs Bunny, a classic and changing him for the kids making him fresh, cool and hip."
"Loonatics" starring Buzz Bunny and friends will be set in the year 2772 and, according to Warner Brothers, the characters will display the same wit and humor as the classics.
But for the parents out there who still love the classic bugs he'll still be around.

How long can I get away with this? LOL
I have a 3 1/2 year old boy. I have many of the shows I grew up with on DVD or VHS, like Gilligan, the Looney Toon and Merry Melody cartoons, Beverly Hillbillies, etc, etc, etc.
And as for video games we still have the original Pong, and Tank Battle games.
How long would he think these are the latest cartoons, and that PONG is the latest and greatest thing in video games if I shelter him from this new crap? OK, OK I know it won't work, but it would be nice to set the clock back a couple of decades.
