I 'M a former Philadelphia resident living in Anderson, S.C.
Philly will always be home and greatly missed. But when I read that the mayor's staff had welcomed French supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal with warmth and gifts, I was repulsed.
Those supporters are citizens of a country that wouldn't support the U.S. and our allies in the effort to remove the brutal dictator and mass-murder Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq.
They protected convicted murderer Ira Einhorn for years.
Have any of these activists seeking freedom for Mumia ever read the trial transcripts, the post-conviction-relief hearing transcripts or reviewed any of the damning evidence that rightfully and justly convicted the historically violent former Black Panther and active militant Mumia Abu-Jamal of murder?

Agreed. Most inner-cities in the USA are not worth a cup of warm spit. Led by moronic libturds with skewed socialist views and are really, just a tax drain. Ask ANY upstate NY'er about the Rotten Apple. You'll get an ear full.

The French who came were communist party members. The Mayors office gave them a podium to speak where they besmirched the city's own police force and then gave them a Liberty Bell. The same gift that Philly police get for their 20 year service awards from the City.
Street is a thug through and through. He's been trying to distance himself from this, blaming it on his aides. Pam Africa was on the radio this mornings stating that the Mayor was on her side, but now is backing off for political reasons only.
Upstate is as guilty of sucking on the public teat as downstate is.
