Awwww gheeeesh......
You are BAD!
SFRR, I love it!
This is a serious question to anyone reading this. Where can I get an inexpensive .50? They sure have everyone's panties in a bunch.
'Course, the .338 Lapua remains available as well. Now that's a practical cartridge, there.
Heck with em. Think we got enough pubs to sink this piece of crap. I can't wait till the law takes effect here in Indiana - doin away with permits. If you own a gun, you'll soon be able to carry it in this state without a permit, or so my gun dealer buddy tells me.
*sigh*
Figgers my local DemonRat congresscritter, Earl "Bloomin'idiot" would be in on this clusterf**k. Want my .50, critters? Come 'n' get it, if you have the big brass ones...
A.A.C.
Pardon me just a little if I worry. After the November election, what with 48 million voting for Kerry, I must never underestimate the power of STUPID PEOPLE in LARGE GROUPS! LOL!
The reason to own a .50 cal sniper rifle is to defend yourself when the government comes to take away your .50 cal sniper rifle. That and because they look like so much FUN, don't they? You know they do.
I like the way you think.
Sounds like it's time to get a 50cal, just to torque their noses
I can't get one here.
Well, at least not my own.
But, they look better and better everytime a gun grabber speaks.
Not yet.
The availiability has been getting tight and the price has been getting higher.
It depends on what you consider inexpensive.
There are lots of makers of .50 caliber BMGs:
Daisy, Barrett, McMillan, Robar, SR-50 (Stoner), American Arms, Armalite, Advanced Weapons Technologies, Iver Johnson, Harris, and EDM, to name a few.
The prices range from around $2000. to over $7000., depending on single shot or semi-auto, and depending on brand and model.
If you want a top end model with top end glass expect to invest around $8000.
Ammo will cost around $1.80 a round off the Web bought in bulk quantities.
These Rats just don't give up.
BTTT
FYI:
One can buy a 50BMG upper for an AR 15. (There are several manufacturers, google: "50 BMG upper"). This upper is an unregulated gun part, so that it can be bought without any paperwork in every state that I know if, for cash, by mail, or whatever. They cost under $2000, and simply use your AR-15 lower (basically, the trigger pack, which is the reguulated "firearm").
They can't confiscate what they don't know about.
I didn't know that anything with a fifty-inch bore even existed! Makes those half-inch bore .50BMGs look fiddlingly small...
They are the same crowd that banned the 3 gallon toilet....and forced us all to use the reduced flow toilets that now require a "double flush".... Go figure....
...I'd be so embarrassed if I were a relative of one of these ignorant bozos.....
