NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Kid Rock was arrested Wednesday by Nashville police who are investigating a report that he punched a disc jockey at an adult entertainment club.
Kid Rock was brought before Night Court Commissioner Howard Taradash early Wednesday morning. He is charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor. Taradash set bond at $3,000 and the rapper remained in custody until bail could be posted.
Authorities said Kid Rock was charged after a 3 a.m. altercation at Christie's Cabaret near downtown Nashville.
"Inside the establishment there was a squabble concerning, I guess, the selection of music," Nashville police Sgt. James Smith told reporters. "Again there are no major injuries but an assault did take place."
Television footage from outside the club showed the DJ, identified as Jay Campos, with a red mark on his face and holding his broken eyeglasses.
Kid Rock was among the entertainers who sang at a Tuesday memorial service at Ryman Auditorium for songwriter and promoter Merle Kilgore. The 34-year-old rapper, who has performed with several Nashville music figures including Hank Williams Jr., strummed a guitar and sang "I Saw the Light."
Born Bob Ritchie, Kid Rock was a Detroit-area hip-hop DJ when he broke through with 1998's "Devil Without a Cause," which successfully married hard rock beats with rap lyrics.

Some of the girls were willing to do certain things in the parking lot for you if you gave them more money, but it wasn't worth it.
The place was called Kuma's. The worst part part was that you couldn't even drink there so you didn't even get the benefits of beer goggles.

the Half Dollar was here in Henrietta, not to far from where I work. It got bought by someone else and is now called "Ricks Tally-Ho". The Mirage Palace is still there, and I guess Foxy's too...
but I have never been to any other place than the Barrel... 'cause once in awhile our tattoo guys will go down there with some bikers and have a beer. The place is real dangerous though, I would never go there if the rest of the guys in my crew weren't there too! Besides, the girls are nasty and don't even dance, they just kind of stand there.

I actually didn't have any problems with people giving me sh!t as an American. Maybe it was because my tattooer friends gave me a list of neighborhoods / places to stay away from and specific bars to go to. Brutopia was excellent, Biftec was good too. Maybe it had something to do with travelling with my Swedish friend who is outright Socialist. He's a horrible commie bastard but I love him like a brother. Quite odd considering I'm a rabid libertarian.
Basically I spent one day (mostly the night) in Montreal so all I did was get really drunk and walk around, take cabs, etc. I go to Toronto for the weekend at least 3 or 4 times a year, so I know the city quite well. I love the record shops, restaurants, botiques, streets... etc. I really want to go to Montreal for 3 or 4 days this summer and give it the same opportunity.
What do you know about Quebec City and Halifax? I have heard that Quebec City is also very nice, and my boss enjoyed Halifax when we went on a cruise there.
I love Canada, the Canadian people, and their cities. I enjoy travelling in Canada very much. Just don't get me started on politics when I'm drunk because as I said, I'm a rabid libertarian. I usually just talk about the AK-47 in my closet and get the hard-core America haters to shut the hell up!

No I haven't been to a strip club in three years but in Houston there is one on every other street corner it seems... Anyways they have a three foot rule but no one follows it.. Some of them have what they call dollar dances... Where the girls all go out into the crowd and give a quicke dance for a dollar... But you end up having like three girls dance for you in one song for three bucks..
So this is why the "south park (R)'s" like him and wanted him at the inaugural festivities. *LOL*

hahah see post 86 which describes my thoughts on Canada. When I get a chance to go to Ottawa I'll check out Hull. Thanks for the tip. I don't usually have problems with Ontario cops, you can walk down the street in Toronto smoking a joint and as long as you don't bother anyone they'll leave you alone. Not that I know that from personal experience or anything (!).
Kind of like my hometown of Rochester NY in that regard. Only here the cops don't bug you about that because they're probably on their way to an urgent call about a shooting, robbery, fight, armed burglary, etc.

Judging by what you said later on in your post, I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
Naw, it's not an anti-American thing. The problem in Montreal is French-Canadian versus English-Canadian. French-Canadians are much more likely to admit to speaking English when dealing with an American than when dealing with an English-Canadian. The tension is especially pronounced in Montreal since, historically, the rich in that city have been English-Canadian while the lower classes have been French.
What do you know about Quebec City and Halifax? I have heard that Quebec City is also very nice, and my boss enjoyed Halifax when we went on a cruise there.
Quebec City is interesting since it's a walled, circular town. It's quite historic, but it's a little provincial. Halifax has a nice location and beautiful scenery, but it's pretty small.
