That is funny,my daughter was the same way at that age.
What is even funnier,is that my son was very adamant about me having a baby girl, when I was pregnant with her.He would tell everyone that he was going to have a baby sister.I guess he figured at age 4 and a half, that a baby sister would never play with his toys.

Boy was he wrong.LOL.
How ever he was nice about sharing his toys and sometimes even encouraged her to play with his toys so he would have a play maid.

Thank you,we are trying our best and time will only tell.

You are not doing bad either, with the way you are raising your daughter.Communication and agreements between both parents is very important in raising kids,IMHO.

Your son sounds like he was one smart cookie at a very early age!

Thank you.....my husband has far more experience than I, as he was the father figure to his sister's 2 girls.

But you are so correct about the need of communication and agreement between both parents. We are trying our best to make sure we present a united front in decisions, and she is learning quickly she can't play us against each other.
