Still, it begs the question: Why would a man whose profession and expertise was "newsgathering" make such wild charges without evidence?

Let him explain why in his own words

from http://www.nieman.harvard.edu/events/honors/morris/EASON-Morris.html

"I thank you very much for being here tonight. Let me also thank Fidel Castro. In the earliest days of CNN, when CNN was meant to be seen only in the United States, the enterprising Fidel Castro was pirating and watching CNN in Cuba. Fidel was intrigued by CNN. He wanted to meet the person responsible. So Ted Turner, who at that point had never traveled to a Communist country or knowingly met a Communist, [went to Havana]. It was big deal for Ted and during the discussions Castro suggested that CNN be made available to the entire world. In fact it was that seed, that idea that grew into CNN International, which is now seen in every country and territory on the planet." - Eason Jordan

Looks like CNN may actually stand for Castro News Network.

But what the bloggers did here was deliver information and accountability, the same things the major media purport to be providing -- unless it's one of their own in the hot seat.

Joe six pack heard someone say "the emperor has no clothes" and has finally looked up. The MSM is toast.

Sloppy? More like scurrilous! Especially coming from Eason who played footsey with Saddam so his liberal biased network could gain access in Iraq.

I agree with every word in this piece. We're on it. Click below.

Congressman Billybob

This a special post, not a column, "Columbia Journalism Review Still Doesn't Have a Clue About the Outing of Eason Jordan"
