How does somebody get a job where you can just say any stupid thing, and not only will people pay attention to you, but they'll actually pay you well for it? Ward Churchill, this guy, Noam Chomsky... the list goes on of nut-cases who are obviously wrong, but get money and a following anyway.

He showed up at the big Terrorism conference in DC a few weeks back, and they stood in awe of him. But it must have been due to his undue celebrity, because (as usual) nothing he said or asked made any sense whatsoever.

The guy is a geek showboater. He should get a real job.

Noam Chomsky's one claim to fame, IIRC "Comparative Lingusitics" is just as made up as Ward Churchill's "scholarship", with no empirical verification. Another slick-talking snake oil salesman.
