Reminds me of the old Sovietologists who said the USSR was equal in economy to the US, citing Soviet documents and stats. They never thought the commies would lie, the idiots.

Good article.

I often feel frustrated when trying to find legitimate software here because even the products sold inside major department stores are often pirated.

I recently tried to purchase some gaming software and brought it home only to find out that it was yet another hack job. It tonked me off enough that I sent an email to the company the software was supposed to be from and after providing more information to the president of the corporation, he provided me with two legitimate copies of the games I tried to purchase.

The US government really needs to do more to force Chinas hand into cracking down on software and other intellectual piracy.
