We could have this technology if we cut off all the welfare benes, and tell them to work for a living then put the $$$'s into advancing technology.

Then we'd have to use the tech to suppress our underclass.

I'm all in favor of the trend towards more robotics, even for mixing human/robot parts, but we shouldn't give up our sense of morality in the process.

Imagine an army of robots in the hands of a Janet Reno at Hillary's command

Those monsters don't need robots to commit murder.

"I just do not agree."

I hope you're right and I'm out in left field. The speed of our technological advances is stunning so we'll probably live to see the outcome.

"Result: The general public develops complete lack of concern regarding US action overseas."

Just take a look at the French. During much of the 20th Century the Foreign Legion was used in just this capacity for France's foreign dalliances. As long as no *frenchmen* were dying, their media had little to report, and the citizenry could have cared less. Now they are a nation with the inability to take a stand on anything that does not concern their own comfort. France will be a moslem nation within the next two decades without so much as a shot fired.

"It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner. That is the way it was and will be. That way and not some other way."

This society needs to cut out the dead wood. The dead wood are the welfare recipients. Make them work for their money,
PERIOD.
