"What, are you against getting kids of of abusive houses?"
Yes, when "abuse" is arbitrarily defined by nanny staters. What will you do when christianity is considered abusive to children? It teaches hate speech don't ya know.
"hey, how about I buy your kids a few packs of smokes, will that make you happy?"
What an enlightened response. Have you ever had to find the root cause to any problem? Do you understand the difference between a symptom and a root cause?
"Of course I do. You do to."
No I don't, and if you ever ventured into threads outside of this subject you would probably know that.
Of course I know the difference.
And you may call it an unenlightened response, but then so is "put your money where your mouth is." And I think that's a classic.
I don't think bodily harm is arbitrary.
You have yet to show that bodily harm exists as a direct result of SHS.
lets make it even "simpler" than me proving SHS causes bodily harm. You think kids should smoke? If not, why not?
Nice try. Direct smoking is different than SHS. This discussion is regarding SHS.
I guess explaining why kids shouldn't smoke, but sitting in a room full of it is ok, is beyond your skill.
I've never seen any room that is full of smoke. I'm doubtful anything could survive in a room full of smoke.
well, when I was in school, not only did we survive, but ate vociferously afterwards. Adios.
You do not object to anything your neighbor does to his propterty or his children ?
"well, when I was in school, not only did we survive,.."
Then the room was not FULL of smoke.
Ok, where's the sense of humor, RJR?
"You do not object to anything your neighbor does to his propterty or his children ?"
I do not object to anything that does not cause harm to my property or any children.
Based on your other posts, it is hard to identify when you are joking. Sorry I missed it.
You obviously have no clue as to the difference between effect and illness.
Lumping together all neuroses makes it impossible to have a rational discussion.
No scientifically valid connection between second hand smoke outside and illnesses has ever been documented, and God knows, they have ben trying for over 50 years...
who lumped anything together? the CDC? Argue with them. and I must've missed the demarcation between indoor and outdoor SHS made on this thread, until you just did it. what exactly are you trying to say?
text is a medium with many flaws.
Then you and I agree.
