I don't think I have ever had grits and fish although grits was served most mornings at our house.

I can remember back in the 60's, the local supermarket often had mullet for 9 cents per pound. Mother could tell if it was fresh by looking at the eyes. Really a tasty fish. Perhaps the best of them all if deep fried properly.

Round here (near the ocean and several rivers) fried fish, shrimp etc are served with grits.

Fried shrimp, cheese grits and stewed tomatoes 'ill make ya slap yer mama!

I wanted all tile in my house...floors, baths, counters, back splash etc. The 'tile cutter' my brother suggested buying is a piece of garbage. But I was using it! (Cussing the entire time).

The back splash tiles were so thick that it wouldn't cut them, so I went out and bought a Roto-zip. OMIGOD!

Hallelujah! I can now do in 10 seconds with no effort what took me 30 minutes and a week of my life expectancy before.
