Manufacturing is all but dead as we move to a dependant driven society. The jobs of the future are lawyer, politician, doctor, social worker, retail, telemarketing, fast food. I work in manufacturing now and it is evident China will be the loan superpower with 10 years. Not only are we handing over our manufacturing we are giving away the technology. Our leaders have sold us down the river. Oh I forgot about starting your own business. I will clean your air conditioner filter and you can power wash my house.
I have been trying to fill 4 technical jobs for 4 months. No one, with the qualifications, seems to be looking. I know that is anecdotal but I know of many other's having the same problem all over the US.
Whats the positions and salary?
But anytime governments get involved in freemarkets, it's a problem.
It wouldn't be that the reason you are waiting on the other job instead of taking those offered would be because it pays better and has better benefits and working conditions would it?
A fundamental economics course could benefit you.
Exactly. It's advice no one wants to hear, but 95% of the best jobs will never be publicly advertised, because they are created on the spot when a hiring manager meets someone perfect for his or her team. Jobs found in the newspaper or online are the dregs that were unfillable internally or through the hiring manager's networking contacts...and who wants to work at a job like that, anyway?
You can go to hell for all I care. Grow up.
And if you offer more money, and that doesn't work, well then maybe you'd better find some other business and let someone else have a try.
But instead, you'd rather American citizen employees give it up.
So what is that? All I've heard from you is noise, post some ball park figures and out line what you expect.
And the fisherman who couldn't bait a fish, said there were no fish.
Explain
This isn't a job fair.
Perhaps. So the answer to the question is????????
But instead, you'd rather American citizen employees give it up.
Give what up?
Actually that's a pretty good market.Think about it this way.All those new business owners won't have time to do some things themselves, due to the fact they are running a business. My small biz services some business owners lawn and landscapes, for $50 per hour. Not too bad.
They want their landscape manicured and taken care of,but don't have time. Many use their homes for business parties, employee get-togethers,etc.,,I offer them a service they can relax and enjoy.Granted a 21" push mower and broom won't get you $50 per hour, but with commercial equipment, you can knock out those numbers pretty easily. Then you can make more money on upsells, like fertilizer, lime, pesticides, plant installs, etc.,,
I already did.
What post?
If you can't cut it in the technology business, maybe take up fishing.
Give what up?
Bargaining power.
The question was. If unqualified get paid more, are they then qualified?
