"After all the thousands of AIDS deaths and all the years of "Safe Sex Is Hot Sex" prevention messages, it has come down to this: many gay men who know the rules of engagement in the age of AIDS are not using condoms. As news of a potentially virulent strain of H.I.V. settles in, gay activists and AIDS prevention workers say they are dismayed and angry that the 25-year-old battle against the disease might have to begin all over again.
While many are calling for a renewed commitment to prevention efforts and free condoms, some veterans of the war on AIDS are advocating an entirely new approach to the spread of unsafe sex, much of which is fueled by a surge in methamphetamine abuse. They want to track down those who knowingly engage in risky behavior and try to stop them before they can infect others.

Homosexual sex in the human sewer system gives them a renewed kick in the ass.
What's next Mr. Surge and Urge?
And what will they do? Force the "risky" at gunpoint to wrap their rascals...?
They reap what they sow.
EXIT ONLY tatoos on their butts?
Track them down and kill them? This could get interesting. But I will leave it to them to figure out.
Here's an idea, "tab-A'" goes is "slot-B" not "slot-C". Read the directions before attempting at home.
EXIT ONLY tattoos on their butts?
How about self-control? Nah, that's probably way too radical for the moral relativity crowd.
The only way they are going to stop Aids is to make the queers sit down and keep their mouths shut.
This type of behavior, no matter how risky (risk is part of the attraction, seemingly) is going to continue despite the attempts from outside to intervene. Even attempts from within the subculture have not been effective in putting a stop to the spread of disease. AIDS seems to be the only disease we discuss, but there are a multitude of others that are spread quickly by the same means.
The only real chance we have of beating this scourge is finding a cure. Certainly, and end to gay sex would be a start, but it ain't gonna happen. What is needed, is an innoculation like we have for so many other deadly diseases that used to take lives - we never give them a thought these days, except as the name of a shot on our medical records.
We can't hope to control human behavior. When has that ever worked well?
Excellent response and tagline.
Thanks. I've been considering other quotes for tagline, but I hate for this great quote to go unused.
Unless you can change the nature of men, I don't see any hope for it. Men are aggressive, and men-on-men are doubly so.
What needs to happen is to prevent our young people from growing into this behavior.
Since that's not the agenda of the homosexual lobby, I have no sympathy for them.
How about stick a gun to their head and shoot'em. Nah, that won't work, they're already effectively doing that. If it were not for the fear of the disease jumping to the non-deviant social groups, I would say, "don't interrupt them."
Sew their asses shut and install a colostomy bag.
Do moral relativists see the irony in their making suggestions as to what people should and shouldn't do? I didn't think so. Ah well.
I have wondered that myself. Can they not see that they attempt to force their moral relativity upon others as if it's an absolute, thereby making themselves hypocrites? However, even if they did, in their egotism, they would likely exclude themselves, since they know better than everyone else.
