My sis-in-law did the Ellis Island archives search and we found a family of 7 - mom and 6 kids - the youngest, a 4 year old girl, was sent back to Sicily after her medical exam showed a problem. Mom and 5 kids stayed in the US.

Things have changed a lot here...
