>> It certainly raised a red flag with me when I first heard it years ago. The latest foray into kookdum by Eason Jordan came as no surprise to me. <<

Nor I, but I must admit I was surprised at how fast he resigned after his latest comment.

QUESTIONS FOR TRIUMPH, THE INSULT COMIC DOG:

Deborah Solomon:

I see your album is up against one by AL Franken, as well as another by Jon Stewart.

Triumph:

Forces to be reckoned with, yes? They sure took down the president. And Franken's liberal radio is really taking off. I own a conch shell with more listeners.

When blowing up the screengrab, I couldn't make out any of the text in the first post shown, but the 2nd one looked like the first 2 words were Hillary Clinton, so I did a search of FR using those two words and was able to determine that it was the post by Johnny7 by virtue of the brackets around a portion of the headline.

That said, seeing that it was your post that was the first one listed, and given it's colorful title, it was obviously your post that caught CNN's eye.

Hugh Hewitt was on target on Scarborough tonight regarding how out of step Chrissy, Donaldson, Woodruff and others were recently for not even hearing about this story until after it was a week old.

it was interesting to note how many MSM outlets were forced to report that Eason felt compelled to resigned because of a controversial story they never even reported!

Here, too. I was amazed. He must have had no support from his food chain at all. I think he is more a victim of the ratings than anything else. This was a good excuse.

Jordan just had too many strikes against him.

He makes Kaplan look like the paragon of journalistic virtue, by comparison.

If anything the Liberal MSM tried their best to ignore the story, but it got to the point they couldn't even do that. The story grew on it's own to the point no one could ignore it.

Bob Beckel, on tonight's H&C...Bloggers are internet lynch mobs

I think we all know what this really means, don't we?

It means that we are a clear and established threat to MSM's selective promotion of "progressive" topics; and, a threat to their selective indignation (including palpable lies such as those of Mr. Jordan) against all we stand for.

LYNCH MOB? Did little Bobbie Beckel call us a "lynch mob"?

The Stalinist flame throwing hate speech of Mr. Beckel is intended to discredit us, but lookie what happens. We need only quote him, and his petulant, foot stamping hyperbole gets ponged around the blogosphere and becomes another excellent bad example of the hyperventilating hate-lies of the left.

Mr. Beckel, do you really think that your hate mongering will make people like you and your party? No matter, keep it up, though, okay?

.

Yeah, even though Smigel is a lib-which is supposition on my part, I'm just going by the standards of the entertainment industry-he comes up with some really hilarious material, on occasion.

Bob Beckel's most pressing question, at the moment-

WHERE'S MY HOOKER?!

Yeah, but CNN just showed your thread on trog (troll blog) sites, not blog sites...the thing about McClellan and the gay bars only claims Anonymous Source said this, so you KNOW it's a trog.

BTW, I think Anonymous Source is a pseudonym. I keep looking, but can't find anyone by that name. So what's a a guy with a pseudonym, involved in a plan to assassinate the character of the WH press secretary over a possibly gay reporter who used a pseudonym at press conferences DOING hanging out at gay bars with the WH press secretary? Isn't that a conflict of interest?

WHERE'S MY HOOKER?!

If they were to bring Beckel's Buddies on TV, would you have to get a Hooker Booker?

I was surprised he even caved in. Just proves to me he was nothing more than a gutless punk with a big mouth.

You're right. I sure hope the Davos transcript comes out and the postmortem on what really happened at CNN is presented... if ever.

Eason should have been fired for that 2003 admission. CNN should have been investigated for their pro-Saddam reporting and to what extent they misinformed the world. If MSM wanted to preserve their credibility there would have been a thorough investigation. But there was none. Did BBC cut the same type of deal? There are many victims of the Iraq war. MSM is one of them.

I still remember the December 2002 vote where 100% of Iraqis voted for Saddam as breathlessly reported by a CNN wonkette. It was ridiculous. Yet CNN like BBC have worldwide viewers who believe what they report. That is why checks on the MSM are important. That is why Dyke of BBC and Eason Jordan of CNN are no longer.
