Death of worker at treatment plant ruled a homicide The Associated Press
PATERSON, N.J. - A woman whose body was found in a tank at a water treatment plant drowned and her death has been ruled a homicide, the Passaic County prosecutor said Monday.
Geetha Angara had been doing water quality tests Wednesday when she disappeared. A search found her body about 100 feet from where she was working, but her two-way radio and clipboard were found directly below the work area, which had a protective grate to prevent falls, Prosecutor James F. Avigliano said.
"That was where we think the woman was either pushed or shoved into this opening," Avigliano said. Water flow in the tank probably contributed to movement of her body, but did not have much effect on the smaller, denser items, he said.
The regional medical examiner made the homicide determination, which detectives agreed with, he said. The examiner also found the cause of death to be drowning, he said.
Investigators last week began interviewing all 85 employees working at the plant, and all will eventually be interviewed, Avigliano said.

Start investing in the parent company of reynolds wrap, because the aluminum foil will be put on thick tonight.
Any word on that family of four converted x-muzlims?
Who knows...........btw the news said that Geetha had limited movement withe one her arms from bursitis and that her arm was in a sling.
So she was pretty defenseless against whomever killed her.
The homicide does seem to have a Monkish quality about it...
The family of the murdered Coptic Christians is having a press conference tomorrow in D.C.
Haven't heard any new news on the case otherwise.
WOW! Maybe we should call Monk, or Columbo, or Sherlock Holmes.
I was really thinking this was an accidental death. The idea this woman was murdered is very disturbing.
Does your local news report state if the water has been re-tested? Like maybe whoever killed her did so to stop her from doing the test because maybe the killer(s) added something to the water that they don't want found?
I thought the latest on that was that the police believe it was a robbery? not sure, but we will never get the truth on this story - we all knew it would be buried from the start.
Coast to Coast PING!
"a financial motive". sure:

No it didn't mention on the news if the water has been retested.
But dear friends of mine live in Passaic Cty. so they're finding out themselves.
Will post if I hear anything.
