Now we will see if the republican in the senate have the "shorts" to get off their collective @$$e$ and do something besides cower to the socialists in the senate. Time will tell. But, if history is any gage, these folks will not get passed.

Can anyone please show me a example of when out illustrious MAJORITY leader used his position to force something through? For that matter has he taken a firm stand when it mattered on any subject?
God bless the healing hands of a doctor, but I don't want the Senate run by a man too worried about offending future voters for his presidential candidacy to use a heavy hand when it's needed. Lord knows the Democrats never shirked from it in fourty years.

Much too early to begin the celebration, IMHO. Let's, first, get through the obligatory "Borking", the floor votes, and the swearings in. Until it is a done deal, I will maintain that Frist and Hatch are in for one helluva wrangle.
The party winning this major battle will set the agenda and the tone for the entire second Bush term. Here's hoping the leadership can get everyone pulling in the same direction.
