Didn't you mean, "If Bush can pack the courts with judges who can understand and apply Constitutional principles, his legacy will indeed be great."?Amen!
IMO, the single biggest problem in America today is a judiciary who have usurped the legislature's job and put the will of the people aside for their own will.
May God be in this process to right the wrongs done by activist, leftist judges!

Time for the obstructionists to put up or shut up. Frist should at least make them mount a real filibuster and lose some sleep if they want to cause problems.

Word is newly elected senator TOM COBURN from Oklahoma is at the head of picking out judges. Tom my friend is probably the most conservative member of the senate.

I'm not too up on Judges, but I hope he has better advisors helping him pick them out than his father or Ford did. With some people, they're "true to character" for years until they're in a position of authority or power. When their coveted goal is achieved, and they're pretty much beyond being removed or held accountable any longer (unless they've committed something outrageously immoral or criminal), their stripes "miraculously" change and they no longer are what they once were perceived to be. I believe this has happened numerous times with the Supreme Court Justices, no matter by whom they were appointed (although, my guess is it probably happened more often by liberals who were believed to be conservatives).

GUYS(and gals). If we change the rules to use the nuclear option, ALL we have to do pass the current judges through, then change the rules back before the possibility of a dem president (which I do not believe will happen) comes to
light. There is nothing to worry about..

I'm not worried. If they again come to power (perish the thought), they have the right to have judges confirmed if they get 51 votes. That is how it is supposed to work.
