fyi - lost 15 inches of colon on 10 January - neen back at work for 2 weeks - get up and walk.

I agree on the morphine. They gave me Demerol and it did diddly squat. Had to wait for what seemed like an eternity for the keys to the cabinet with the morphine to appear. Spent four days on it. Ask your doc to have it ready.

Another thing, exercise as much as you can before surgery. It'll speed up the recovery.
