I asked my Doctor that question and his reply was that if you have the non-invasive scan and there is any question about the results you're going to get the colonoscopy anyway to verify it.

thanks, I wouldn't mind getting the invasive test after the non-invasive test finds something suspicious. (assuming false-positive results from the 'scan' are somewhat rare).

I was more concerned about false-negative results from the non-invasive test.
