And while Croatia might not be Bosnia, I'm sure I could find a couple million folks who'd be happy to tell you that Krajina isn't Croatia, just to put your position in perspective.
The ones who shall have problems with this are the profiteers and religious fanatics of Islam. With this current seperation within BiH, the radical islam has a sanctuary to recruit, train, fundraising and logistical acquisition. With my proposed solution, being the most viable and practical, the Serbs and Croats having the equal 50/50 division will negate the protection of war criminals/radical islam.
Those who do oppose this split should be looked into as they harbor support for terror. If one needs to look at the peacefull coexistant application, look towards the cities and major geo-cities within Serbia. Many mosques, Catholic churches and other religious institutions of worship/study.
I rest my case as the muslims chose to deviate from peace and into war with Alija rescinding his obligatory signature to Lisbon 1992.
Dio, your boy Hoppy fails to delve further into Alija's fanaticism, as well as his subordinates (junior rank and file). He brought those ppl into the fold as easily as he could have chosen respected Serbs and Croatians of BiH. His option for radical islam stalwarts in filling his cabinet posts goes to prove Serbian AND Croatian assertions of rising radical muslim tide.
Why did he choose radical followers? He could have selected Aleksa Buha (muslim on the RS cabinet side) and a Croatian to head a 3-pronged seat.
You are right. BigMacs never cured anything, Hoplite. It's the food that makes people fat and fatter as well as dumb and dumber.
Should be an interesting month in Zagreb. (EU entry talks scheduled for March 18th...)
I hope they make it in.
Most Croats do want into the EU, but do not want to hand over Gotovina. That is the mood on the street.
My initial view of Tadic was negative due to his Djindjic leanings. As new information comes to pass, Tadic can be a strong leader, but Kostunica needs to cooperate, not the other way around.
Will you be in Krajina this May or June, diotrop?
no such thing as Krajina...but I will be in Croatia and Bosnia in late July and August.
if so, gotta share a drink in Petrinje. I need a Croatian travel buddy while there.
