What an opening paragraph. What media bias?
This woman's name is interesting -- why is her name "Maya Marcel-Keyes"? The placing of the hyphen seems to indicate that there is more than one paternal surname attached to her.
Is Maya actually Keyes' flesh and blood, or is she an adopted stepchild?
BTW -- Phyllis Schlafly has a gay son. It hasn't stopped her a bit. Same with the late Robert Knight. And of course, there's Ron the Lesser Reagan, who isn't gay, but might as well be.
I remember reading Dinesh D'Souza's biography of Ronald Reagan. Ron was shacking up with a girlfriend. Michael broke the news to their father, saying something like, "the good news is we know Ron isn't gay..." Apparently his father had doubts.
What an opening paragraph. What media bias?
I can just see some smart-ass CBS reporter typing this story, chuckling and giggling all the way. Chances are you'd find better journalistic ethics at your local high-school newspaper than you will at CBS News. Maybe that's why their ratings are so anemic.
I have a "Valentine" for Dan Rather and all the other liberal hacks at CBS. It's a heart-shaped pink slip. Buh-bye!
And of course, there's Ron the Lesser Reagan, who isn't gay, but might as well be.
ROTFLOL!
When did Bob Knight die?
You're kidding? You mean Ron Reagan isn't gay?
I've wondered the same thing. What's with the hyphen?
And as far as I know, FRC's Robert Knight is still alive, if he's the same guy. He is the one who focuses on homosexual agenda items.
Dan
It's really difficult for Christians when their children turn out gay. You think you're bringing them up in the nurture and admonitions of the Lord and oops, all of a sudden you find out that they're homosexual. It's hard for any parent, Christian or not, but I think for Christians it's difficult because we know how God feels about it and it's sin. None of us wants our kids to get involved that way because it's downright dangerous spiritually as well as physically and morally.
We've had several children in our congregation who have gone int hat direction. Thank God that one of them, a young woman, has repented and turned away from it. Another one has split with her partner and one can only hope it won't happen again. One young man is gay but that didn't surprise me when I heard about it. My ex-daughter in law has two brothers, twins, who are gay. It's a devastation for her parents who love them. None of these parents have turned their backs on their children, though. Prayer has certainly helped. Gays CAN be delivered from that lifestyle, no matter what the world thinks.
"Ron the lesser Reagan"I may be confused here. You mean the dancer? Not gay?
Certainly it is irrelevant whether a conservative has a gay-rights fan in their family. You'll notice nobody ever questions whether a gay activist is a hypocrite because they love/hate their conservative family members.
Heh heh heh...MUD
Yeah, all these rabidly anti-gay people have gay kids. Maybe there's a pattern here. They don't have their political positions despite their gay kids; they hate gays because they have gay kids.
What is it with parents who hate their own children? How can they be conservative role models?
And of course, there's Ron the Lesser Reagan, who isn't gay, but might as well be.
Anti-gay conservatives say gays should go straight. But then when one does, you attack him anyway. You should be performing certain (purely platonic) acts on him in gratitude for his rejection of the homosexual lifestyle.
I think Ron Reagan, The Lesser, IS GAY!! Geesh...have you never heard of a "beard"?? RR, The Lesser, doesn't have ANYTHING masculine about him, including his views.
Who was he?
