No. But expelling a child from your house and your life doesn't equate to love in my world either. Maybe in your world it does.
Mothers and fathers have to expel children for destructive behavior every day. Whether it is for drugs, abuse, or criminal conduct it is a tough choice.
How many parents have had to exclude a offspring because they refused to get help to cease a destructive behavior. We are not talking about smoking or other red hering.
These are not all only children. What about the other siblings, or grand children. Nobody disputes that contact with homosexuals should be minimized when it comes to children. There are very good reasons to shun a person who refuses to see the destruction of their conduct.
Should the child see the error of their ways and THEN return they would be welcomed. Behavior has consequences.
