Ban me Jim [Re: Illegal Immigration, ALIPAC and the Minuteman Project]

Hi Jim,

Looks like Illegal Immigration and Amnesty is going to be your downfall, and the downfall of FR if you don't change your ways. I hope it is not the downfall of the conservative movement. Or is that what you wanted?

Your story is all over the web, and many people now know the truth.

I kept my account here for just this occassion. Go ahead and ban me and prove your critics correct. I reported abuse (name calling, personal attacks etc.)from your favorites, and I was the one that was suspended.

The jig is up Jim, and you've been exposed.

Buh Bye! The web will call the Viking Kitty's on you.

"Agree with it or not, I'm still an advocate of a North/Central American hegemony, if not actual union, of nations. Manifest destiny wasn't such a bad idea, imho."

The US in control all the way down the isthmus with everything north being part of the union is the best idea, so far as I'm concerned. To include the major Gulf & Caribbean Islands. (Carter made a stupid Panama decision and Kennedy never should have allowed Cuba to fall. They were, and/or should have been, ours.)

" "Mexico's population will approach that of the US by then end of this century if nothing changes. They're coming to the US whether we like it or not. We might as well get to keep their government, too."

How long before our economy looked worse than germany's?

Out of curiosity I took a look at the website in question. While admittedly there are many opinions stated that I would find reprehensible I noted many others including specific discussions on Christianity. How could a forum regardless of it's repute be anti-Christian when they have an entire Theology section that is tightly monitored? I've seen far worse Christian bashing on DU.

Okay, I'll bite -- who ever claimed they were "anti-Christian"?

Furthermore, if your implication was that if they're pro-Christian in some way, then they must be doing the Lord's work, I submit that you don't have your priorities straight.

Extremists, from Stormfront have a view. I do not agree with all of them. The immigration issue, is going to be on in which many of us will disagree.

I for one do not look at this as a race issue, but one of security issues. We need to have a definite hard core screening process, with the Presidents guest worker program.

So it seems that some of us would agree with some of the posts on this subject at Stormfront.

I cannot agree with thier overall platform.

You, on the other hand, are a liar and a race-baiter and you know it. It is how you get so many illegal immigration related threads thrown into the smokey room gulag or deleted all together. And how you slander good posters to get them banned, etc. It is your M.O. and you're good at it.

WOW! You really hit THAT nail on the head. Does the same with Islamonazi threads, too. Anything to hurt America (The Great Satan!).

I had this really wacky crazy idea of asking the founder of the minute men project about this. This was his response.

NO.

But someone keeps splattering incriminating emails or copying part of my website and pasting them into at least one KKK type website.

And a couple of media sources are even more rogue, in that they go view that white-supremacist place and then write an article about how the MMP is affiliated with that group. Those same media writers don't even visit the actual MMProject site.

I am a former newspaper reporter and I know exactly what they are doing. They are anarchists who want to re-define the meaning of the First Amendment to suit an anarchist agenda. That's why they end up in dead end places with dead end writing jobs.

Hope I answered your question. :) I just happened to have finished writing about two of those charlatan journalists just before I read your email.

Thanks for letting me vent. :)

Cheers,For God and Country,

Jim Gilchrist - The Minuteman Project

Dear Americans,
The Minuteman Project has no affiliation with any racist
organization...period!

I cannot prevent people from posting emails or rhetoric anywhere, including
on some rogue website(s). Some members of the media (an extreme one or two)
and some anti-American, anti-border groups have used these "stormfront"
postings as representing The Minuteman Project. These claims are simply
100% lies.

The great preponderance of media personnel are conscientious professionals
(99%). However, 1% are not truly journalists, but anarchists who seek ONLY
to destroy anyone or any thing with which they disagree.

The most blatant disregard for responsible journalism was the editorial
appearing in the Eugene, Oregon "Renegade" Guard (or whatever it is called).

Sometimes, you just have to ignore these communists. Associated Press, so
far, is printing the best stories, with the exact truth of the matters,
about the MMP. Hopefully, the AP reporting will continue in that same vein
of professionalism.
Other media outlets are doing a good job, as well. But AP seems to be doing
the best.

Cheers,

Jim Gilchrist - The Minuteman Project - Americans doing the jobs Congress
won't do.

Turn capitalism loose in that whole area, and the real question is how long before it looks like the world's garden spot.

Is this too hard to understand? Lots of Freepers are opposed to illegal immigration. But we don't need racists or extremists on this site. And we don't need personal insults.

Far from getting the job done, such behavior is simply counterproductive. It just makes the job of doing something practical about the immigration problem more difficult.

The amazing thing about these self-delusional Zotters is that they actually think we (Freepers) will lay awake tonight worrying about their absence.

Then again, when someone's opinion about immigration is the center of the known universe, they have the duty to announce to the whole world their intentions to vacate FreeRepublic.

((Ironically, due to their self-Zot, FreeRepublic will now be an even better website than it was before.))

I didn't even know stormfront existed before seeing the links on this thread and the one in the SBR.

And if those links by themselves are all the evidence to be presented, this whole thing is ludicrous.

Yes exactly, the concern about ilegal immigration/open borders is that at the end of the day it can lead to this sort of ethnic warfare in the US soutwest not Nigeria or Bosnia:

WITNESS FOR BOTH SIDES (Naser Oric’s Srebrenica, Bosnia village attacks)
SENSE ^ | February 16, 2005

Posted on 02/16/2005 8:04:12 AM PST by joan

Troops commanded by Naser Oric attacked the Serb villages in the Srebrenica area to get “arms and ammunition”, while civilians looking for food “plundered, ransacked and burned the houses,” prosecution witness Nedret Mujkanovic claims

THE HAGUE, 15.2. (SENSE) - Units commanded by Naser Oric carried out several “attack actions” in the Srebrenica areas between September 1992 and February 1993, Dr. Nedret Mujkanovic confirmed today as he continued his testimony. He is a pathologist from Tuzla, who treated soldiers and civilians wounded in those attacks as he worked as a surgeon in the Srebrenica war hospital.

He confirmed the allegations in the indictment about “wanton destruction and plunder” of the Serb village but also the defense argument that those were “desperate attempts of starving civilians to find food”. Dr. Mujkanovic at times seemed more like a defense witness, despite the fact that he was in fact called by the prosecution.

“The survival instinct was stronger than death”, Mujkanovic said, describing why the civilians, as he testified, “raided the villages, carrying away food, household appliances and furniture from the houses and then setting the houses on fire”. He confirmed that all the attacks were organized in the same way. First, the troops would get in, take control of the village, seize any weapons and ammunition they could find and then the civilians would come in and get all the rest.

All the attacks were planned in strictest secrecy, the witness claims, describing how “even the hospital would receive notification of an attack only when it was imminent.” When asked by the presiding judge how it was possible that the civilians had participated in the attacks en masse despite the secrecy, Mujkanovic explained that every soldier would warn his family that there would be an attack, so that they could get ready to “be the first to enter the village” immediately after the troops.

“Some of them would get into the villages even before the troops,” the witness said, describing how in some cases the first wounded to come in would be civilians.

When Judge Agius asked him to confirm a claim he made in a statement given to the investigators in 2000 that “Naser Oric was present and commanded all those attacks”, Mujkanovic was unable to do so in full. He made this conclusion, he says, on the basis of the conversations he had with the wounded in the hospital and with Oric himself. He claims that Oric would come to visit the wounded.

Mujkanovic claims that “the soldiers did not burn houses in the villages they attacked.” As he says, they were only interested in weapons and ammunition, while the burning of houses was “some kind of revenge by civilians.” He also confirmed that such conduct could be anticipated during every further offensive launched by the units under Naser Oric’s command

You don't absorb it.

If it's a people willing to WORK, then you use it to your benefit.

Think of the poor german and irish immigrants. They had one very important thing going for them....a strong work ethic.

I've commented here in the past on my trip to Tombstone, AZ during which I met Chris Simcox, who's apparently one of the organizers of the MM project.

Despite generally being on the same side, one of Simcox' assistants was a rude jerk because I was a member of the "press."

Simcox himself wasn't so bad, but he was even more on message than Steve Forbes. He kept saying the same things over and over that he'd said to other "reporters" in the past.

He also pointed out that he'd been a diversity director for some school in L.A., which is one of the most diverse places in the U.S. And, his son is black. So, at least in Simcox' case I don't think this MMP = Stormfront charge is going to stick.

The anti-MMP stance puts FR on the same side as U.S. "human rights" groups that are allegedly affiliated with the Mexican government. Does that mean that FR takes its marching orders from the Mexican government?

MMP says they're screening those participating. If there's evidence that's not the case, then this would be warranted. Otherwise, it's simply falling into a trap set by the news media and those "human rights" groups.
