"Dyslexics of the World, UNTIE!"LOLOL!
I didn't read any of that in the bill this morning but I do know they are debating national IDs.
I posted earlier on laws that are unconstitutional that I will not follow. For instance telling me I can't smoke in my own business which is private property. I know Conservatives have respect for the law but I will not follow such a law. My rights are inviolate, not subject to the tyranny of the majority (Or a minority of tin pot dictator judges.).
I am against national ID cards and if they are enacted, I will NOT comply with it no matter the consequences.
I guess I should have read further but it seemed like a good bill.
Arioch7 out.
Ron Paul doesn't like the "Real ID Bill."
Excerpt:
"H.R. 418 does nothing to solve the growing threat to national security posed by people who are already in the U.S. illegally. Instead, H.R. 418 states what we already know: that certain people here illegally are "deportable." But it does nothing to mandate deportation. Although Congress funded an additional 2,000 border guards last year, the administration has announced that it will only ask for an additional 210 guards. Why are we not pursuing these avenues as a way of safeguarding our country? Why are we punishing Americans by taking away their freedoms instead of making life more difficult for those who would enter our country illegally?
H.R. 418 does what legislation restricting firearm ownership does. It punishes law-abiding citizens. Criminals will ignore it. H.R. 418 offers us a false sense of greater security at the cost of taking a gigantic step toward making America a police state.
I urge my colleagues to vote NO on the REAL ID Act of 2005.

Dr. Ron Paul is a Republican member of Congress from Texas.
Listen do you smell something?
Hmmmm, that says that "Oren" (a guy's name) will arrange Texas driving licenses, and "personally guide clients through the process" for "a comfortable fee"!
I guess if you have a Texas license, you must be legal, right?
Anyone who proposes that only Mexicans should be held liable for crimes in the United States, and all those thousands of others are exempt........are expressing racism, pure and simple!
Good article, it had interesting info.
I don't understand why some are so quick to try and get newbies expelled from FR. It appears your source is a conservative blog, and the author was relating what some middle easterners think of Americans; hence the title.
But no good deed goes unpunished, I guess...
To some FReepers, just being NEW is a Zottable offense.
Anybody watching Fox News?? watch carefully before you ZOT!
Fox News is talking about this right now.
What does Fox News have to say about ZOTTING on FR?

"MainStreamMedia" are far too busy with Jacko, Jennifer & Brad, bashing the American people and their heritage, to seriously address foreign organised crime networks....or for that matter, national security. Jayna Davis and Steve Emerson are proof of that policy.

They were talking about the Oil for Food scandal, and what Saddam was doing with the billions he was skimming off this scam program.
One of the things he invested in is terrorist cells planted in the US for future terrorist acts. One such act was to place deadly poison in our food, drugs, and cosmetics. Also, the development and eventual deployment of deadly nerve gases to be used at major shopping malls and sporting events. The people interviewed for this show were not flakes, rather they were or are top level American government officials.
Obviously, Resa has read the pulse of the American public...the MSM, and the NeoConner's remain in cloud cukoo land!
Once I saw the at least three of the Saudis who bombed the NY Trade Center had false citizenships and had been sent voter registration reminders after their names and pictures had been plastered on every newspaper, blog, web forum, radio and television station six months after the bombing occurred - I knew our gubmint had lost it.
