Where do you live? I grew up in FL, so I've been around gators all my life. Biggest ones I've ever see are in Okefenokee, about 18'.
I've been in St.Augustine since 1947, where the Gators are smaller, but meaner and faster! Those old Okefenokee Gators never had to keep their tails out of reach of hungry Cracker Boys, lack of competition makes them fat, and slow. If I could figure out how to get a few St. Johns County Gators into the Noo Yawk sewer system, I suspect that town would get straightened out in a hurry!
I suppose We should run tests, to see if eating liberals will hurt the Gators, even though rotten Possums seem to work just fine! I am "Green" all the way, by the way, won't feed a Gator anything but what is good for it!
