Even a thread screaming "THE WASHINGTON POST HAS BEEN HAD!" probably wouldn't do the trick. In actuality, they haven't been had, they are part of this smear, they know it, and they are doing everything they can to propagate the portion of a story that meets their partisan needs.
The links you so generously provided above (as you do for many subjects) contain over a thousand posts. The mainstream is comprised of people who won't even google "democrat quote Saddam WMD" much less wade through this many replies for the truth.
Nonetheless, the service you provide is invaluable and I thank you for your efforts.
Still searching for a solution,
Quilla

It's sounding more and more like Howie's beginning to get the picture that WE don't need HIM to tell us what's "what" with the press anymore.Precisely.
What we are seeing is an electronic revival of the old "broadsheets" that used to be published all over America- I did some research about the local ones here, and my God!, were they opinionated! But you knew where they stood, too.
But the internet and talk radio are better, because we ( all of us! ) can talk back to them.
It shakes the truth, and facts, out rather quickly.

In the doctor's office one day, I picked up some magazine and then realized how TENSE I was because I couldn't "respond" on the spot!

A true cautionary tale for FReepers. NCPAC had a bunch of enemies in the MD dems and their media enablers. I'm sure he felt pretty secure here at FR among fellow FReepers. Unfortunately, the other side has some crafty and unethical operatives. I've got to give them some credit here, it was a sneaky little ploy and well executed.
Take care FRiends.

The MSM's lurking here, especially the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. There have been changes to a Baltimore Sun column because of what we've posted, and the Washington Post has softened its characterization of what NCPAC did on this website.

Are you saying they will voluntarily reveal the identity of MD4BUSH just as they did for NCPAC? I'm afraid we will have to wait for the investigation results before the cohorts of Ceci Connelly give us the truth.

If MD4Bush is their source, they will protect him. But the Washington Post claimed that they don't know who MD4Bush is. So IF we believe the WaPo, they should have no reason to protect him.
I'm not holding my breath, though.

Michelle Malkin said THIS???
"...Gov. Ehrlich deserves credit for immediately firing the rumor-mongerer ..."
I don't get it. He resigned, didn't he? And weren't the MD4BUSH gang the rumor-mongerers?

one of the reason I posted this is because I was so surprised that Malkin's write up was so off base......admittedly, it was a sort of a post-script to another piece about O'Malley she was writing (O'Malley's likening President Bush to the Sept. 11 terrorists) but still ... ????

Looks like Michelle has some conflict over this one. She evidently hadn't done enough research before making that erroneous statement and publishing it on the net for all to see and believe. Very disappointing.

Excellent job of indexing as usual. This is my favorite:
Jim Robinson's cryptic reply re what really happened in the Md Gov mess.
