And oh yes - she has cornered the market on 'fruit inspection' (in the Biblical sense).

I don't know what you mean by this.

Maybe Psalms 78:46 ? "He gave their crops to the caterpillar, and the fruit of their labor to the locust." She liked to spend the fruits of your labor, eh?

Encouraging news. I'm not sure what Baptists believe in but I know they are Christian and kudos to them to drawing a Muslim to Christ.

I would ask you to remember that most of what you saw Falwell do, was presented to you on CNN. To his credit Falwell drew back from the media when he realized his appearances were having a negative impact.

CNN? In their prime they sought Falwell out to appear on their network. Then they did about everything they could to trash him.

I believe I mentioned that I didn't always agree with what he had said. I will say though, that his Liberty University has undoubtedly been a major positive impact on many Christians. I believe that it is unquestionable, that Falwell has been a major plus for conservatism.

If for no other reason, than to provide a public opinion that would reinforce what we already accepted, Falwell's early appearances were a positive. In those days we didn't have the choices we do today. Falwell was a voice in the wilderness.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, the major leftist newspapers, we just didn't have much other than Rush and few other isolated conservative talk show hosts. There Falwell was speaking out on moral issues.

I have always liked him. Rarely have I found him to be an overall negative during an appearance. A number of times I saw him more or less attacked without a reasoned ability to defend himself, the issue spun for leftist advantage.

Good advice, obviously, from Christ.

BTW, years ago I applied for a job at Liberty. I couldn't in good conscience fill out the morals section because I do like cable television :)
