I don't think it has anything to do with marrying - I think it has more to do with the PC attitudes at school, which includes the feminization of our boys.
I believe that's why Laura Bush has started a program called Passport to Manhood - where young boys are mentored about their responsibility as a husband and father. This is a great program and I can see where a whole generation of young black men will end up making a real difference in the lives of their families and their communities.
When my father got home after I burned up a neighbor's front yard playing with matches, my 5-year old rear end was redeemed.

Public schools have been designed since the Sixties for the express purpose of neutering "Pit Bull children". Would-be socialist dictators find them problematic. ;)
This guy is like a bad caricature of a conservative. We want to raise "Pit Bull" children? I wouldn't want to. There's a difference between being strong and being aggressive. The latter has to do with a kind of machismo which is all too often a combination of vanity and arrogance. The liberal ideal is problematic as well- coddling leads to weak, spoiled children. But this seems to take it to the other extreme.
