...snip CU officials say roughly 15 percent of Churchill's $92,000-a-year salary - $13,800 - comes from state tax dollars. The remaining 85 percent - $78,200 - comes from tuition. But about 74 percent of that tuition - $57,868 - comes from out-of-state students, CU says.
Ward Churchill gets paid plenty by the rich parents of kids from the country's major metropolitan areas who can afford CU's hefty nonresident bills.
He owes his professional existence to the very "technicians of empire" he likened to "little Eichmanns."

I am talking about the Denver Boulder AIM chapter--the War Churchill group.
They and the Minneapolis AIM are fighting with each other.
Well, the Ward Chuchill group is NOT the American Indian Movement - period. They can call it The Autonomous American Indian Movement all they want, but it doesn't make it so...
Ward CHurchill is, and has been for some time, persona non grata with A.I.M.
97% of the funding for the "Etnic Studies Department" at CU comes from the states' general fund.
I don't think my posts are "crap" at all.
The Indian Country Today have seen Churchill with his AIM security during his appearances.
I said that these may be called the Dog Soldiers. They may or may not be "real" Dog Soldiers in your opinion, but they may be called Dog Soldiers and they may have a security/enforcement function.
I agree that there are two different organizations that claim to be the "real" AIM. (I have tried to make this point in many posts on this topic.)
To me, this is like saying that if two parties or two religioons split which is the "real" party. I don't have a dog in this fight, so I just say there are two AIM organizations.
Ward Churchill was with AIM many years ago before it split. He may have been the person who cooked up the "Mr X" interview. Who can say.
I agree his is an intellectually dishonest person, but I don't have much use for either organization that calls itself AIM.
However, I have been speaking and usually clarifying that I mean the Denver/Boulder/Ward Churchill/Lee Hill AIM.
I think we can agree that Ward Churchill has security. I have heard they may be called Dog Soldiers.
Let's keep watching.
Well, fine then. While you make all these "Dog Soldiers of AIM" then, you won't mind referring to it as "Thugs of Colorado AIM" will you? It's more accurate that way...
"Confederation of Autonomous A.I.M. Chapters" = "Malcontents for Russell Means"
Well, he has security from his little Colorado AIM fifdom, certainly, but they all follow Ward, because Ward follows Russell Means, and anyone with tweo brains knows that for a few decades, Russell Means has been nothing but a self-promoting huckster...
I will continue to differentiate the Colorado chapter from the Minneapolis chapter.
I have done this about 50 times.
They seem to be enemies.
Very much so - and if I had to come down on any side, it would be Minneapolis...
I saw a post on one of the Ward Churchill threads to the effect that he has a reputation for teaching "gut" courses. I believe the University of Colorado is considered one of the top party schools. So Churchill's courses would be ideal for an out-of-stater who just wants to party hearty, and needs to sign up for courses that won't require much effort to pass.
