I thought that liberals believed in the right to personal privacy. Whatever Gannon's personal peccadellos, they didn't disqualify him from being a journalist.
Modern, politically-correct liberals don't make any sense to me. They constantly call for fairness and tolerance, yet when someone disagrees with them and makes legitimate points, they act like facists.

A person's sex life is only a personal matter if you're married, are a Democrat president, have sex in the oval office with a subordinate, and like playing the victim card.

lets see you have Ed Ashner threatening Hannity that he's next,
you have Rush, Bill Bennet, Armostrong William, Maggie Gallager, Gannon, etc. Then you have Cosby making responsible statements that pi** off the left and suddenly he's in a scandal. Anybody notice a trend here. Its obvious who the real Nazi's are.

His crimes were that he was too pro-Republican, attended White House briefings, and asked questions unfair to Democrats.Get a rope! :)
Denote sarcasm.

Kincaid pointed out, "Despite all the innuendo and controversy, the fact remains that Gannon had done some excellent political stories on a wide range of subjects, including the CIA and former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle."
Can those stories still be read at Talon News, or did they get yanked from the website?

Bill O'Reily another target of the left. O'Reilly should never have brought a loofah to a gun fight.

Remember Rush's TV show that had higher ratings than several other major evening shows, yet couldn't get on the air in most places. He had higher ratings even where his show was tape delayed till 5:00am.
Dr. Laura, same thing.

Brit Hume and others have also been targeted. Anyone perceived to be pro-Bush or pro-Republican will be silenced if the left-wing digital brownshirts get there way.

I would suggest that David Brock go f--- himself, but he'd probably enjoy it.
To: MisterRepublican
This whole Jeff Gannon affair was bound to happen when liberals saw their "property" (the White House Press Room) being defiled by a conservative reporter.
In the war against the liberal MSM conservatives will suffer casualties like Gannon, but one liberal victory only means there are more liberal reporters down the road waiting to get theirs from irate conservatives.

Liberals don't believe in rights. They believe in priviledges. Not necessarily equal ones, either.

Brock and his allies eventually got Gannon's scalp because of the sex charges," said Kincaid. "These had nothing to do with his work for Talon News and reporting from the White House, and Eberle never conducted an investigation of Gannon's financial or personal business before hiring him. Despite what has been implied, he rarely wrote about anything related to homosexual issues." A little more detail about this would have been nice in this article. To fill it out for this thread, Gannon had a business prior to going to Washington where he registered websites for clients. Some of them had gay sounding names but according to Gannon the sites were never activated and had no content. The client went into other ventures and Jeff Gannon started work in Washington. The sex charges are as bogus as the rest of this mean spirited little scheme of the Party of the Criminally Insane. AKA American Democrats.
