Ehrlich has no problem if the DUmbocRATS want to investigate this. I wonder if he knows they'll find out that it was one of their own that posted the rumors and gave them to the Washington Compost. Jim Robinson described MD4Bush as a "Maryland Democrat Party dirty trickster that setup Steffen"
here. I'm wondering if Ehrlich already knows that.

Ehrlich has been a great Governor, He is a decent man.
Now this Mayor of Baltimore ,a city by the way that got Millions of dollars out of Glendenning, is trying to turn a posting on the internet into a ticket to the Governors mansion. It takes more than that to make a Governor and this guy hasnt got what it takes.

Jim probably has his logs ready for him.

This is all just an attempt orchestrated by the Baltimore Sun, as the official cheerleading "newspaper" of the Democratic party, and the Washington Post to steal the 2006 Maryland gubernatorial election from Ehrlich and hand it to O'Malley. In short, it's a pathetic left-wing effort to take attention away from the fact that Baltimore City, run entirely by Democrats and headed by Mayor Martin O'Malley, is no better off than it was 5 years ago and have absolutely no one to blame but themselves. Heaven knows Martin O'Malley couldn't run on his "record" as Baltimore City mayor.
I notice that in yesterday's Sun O'Malley's comparison of the President's budget to the 9/11 attacks, while sharing the stage with a former President, received one sentence of mention, while this so-called imbroglio received a juicy frint-page article, and an extra article inside, practically accusing Governor Ehrlich of orchestrating some kind of 7th gradish character "assassination." So much for objectivity of the press...

Agreed. I'm willing to bet that this thing backfires on the DUmbocRATS (Four more years in the Old Line State, thank you Jim Robinson).

Yet another article appears - PING.
Hope your OK and weathering the storm, somehow I think you are.
Would really like to see this injustice righted though. If we are right, and I think we are, I hope this whole thing backfires and blasts that Mayor and his operatives into political oblivion.

The amazing thing and to me a historic one, or at least one that illustrates the fact that FR is not considered
a fringe, nutjob right wingnut website, but a tough, well educated and formidable opponent
is the way these huge media organizations are all admitting to the power a quote, a rumor, or an idea has when started here.

But Democratic leaders believe it was part of an orchestrated effort to spread rumors to hurt O'Malley, ...An "orchestrated effort" by dems to make it look like republicans. Who were all the one time posters that day? Superwoman4u2, cleoc (or something like that) and the good buddy MD4BUSH, possibly more? This is getting real interesting.

There also was a poster named baltimore that day that icwhatudo ran down.

Yep, it's pretty amazing. AP has done several stories about this today. Yahoo has a sickening story at the top of their news page right now calling O'Malley "a rising star nationally, and perhaps the [DUmbocRAT] party's best bet to take back the governor's mansion in Maryland in 2006". We're seeing full-blown MSM agitprop promoting the Baltimore mayor, whose administration has been horrible.
