You've got my vote. Ever get to Houston?
To: Jim Robinson
these recent purges have left long term members wondering if the White House or Republican National Committee has undue influence at Free Republic. Jim Robinson is really Carl Rove? LOL!
Tinfoil hat time!
There are so many ways to rip that article. I'll take the easy route and call it little more than a personal hit piece by a disgruntled ex-FReeper.

I actually agree with the president on this, so I don't have a dog in this fight.

I am vehemently against the "Second Amnesty" and would like to see employers of illegals get prosecuted.

there are 1,000,000 yes 1,000,000 illegals come across the border each day from Mexico You got a decimal point way out of whack there somewhere. It may be 10,000 a day all along the border...I would buy that though I don't know the precises figures. But one million?
Do the math. In 3months that would be 90 million...in a year, we'd have 365 million more people here...far more than doubling our population. Does that reasonably seem like what's happening to you? Whoever told you that is terribly mistaken or just ignorant.
...and this is from someone (myself) who opposes much of Bush's substance and tone on immigration. It's too political, sounds too much like amnesty of some sort and will atrract more illegals hoping for the same at some later date. Just my opnion.

Don't bet money on that. The vast majority of Americans are opposed to illegal immigration.
Just because the open-borders shills and trolls are so aggressive, don't let them mislead you into thinking that they have the majority opinion on this forum.

I am behind you 100 percent. Most of us do not support open borders or illegal immigrants. The issue at hand is how we tactfully voice our views of such on Free Republic.

those that religiously support President Bushs immigration plan, open borders and approve of public benefits for illegal aliens remain on the forum Uh Mr. Gheen(the writer of the article), I approve of President Bush's plan to bring sanity to an immigration system that has been out of whack for 40 years and Mr. Gheen, and sorry to put a damper on your typical fringe right cry jag, but I don't support open borders or public benefits for illegal aliens, either.
