The American Indian Movement Grand Governing Council representing the National and International leadership of the American Indian Movement once again is vehemently and emphatically repudiating and condemning the outrageous statements made by academic literary and Indian fraud, Ward Churchill in relationship to the 9-11 tragedy in New York City that claimed thousands of innocent peoples lives.
Churchills statement that these people deserved what happened to them, and calling them little Eichmanns, comparing them to Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann, who implemented Adolf Hitlers plan to exterminate European Jews and others, should be condemned by all.
The sorry part of this is Ward Churchill has fraudulently represented himself as an Indian, and a member of the American Indian Movement, a situation that has lifted him into the position of a lecturer on Indian activism. He has used the American Indian Movements chapter in Denver to attack the leadership of the official American Indian Movement with his misinformation and propaganda campaigns.
Ward Churchill has been masquerading as an Indian for years behind his dark glasses and beaded headband. He waves around an honorary membership card that at one time was issued to anyone by the Keetoowah Tribe of Oklahoma. Former President Bill Clinton and many others received these cards, but these cards do not qualify the holder a member of any tribe. He has deceitfully and treacherously fooled innocent and naïve Indian community members in Denver, Colorado, as well as many other people worldwide. Churchill does not represent, nor does he speak on behalf of the American Indian Movement.
New Yorks Hamilton College Kirklands Project should be aware that in their search for truth and justice, the idea that they have hired a fraud to speak on Indian activism is in itself a betrayal of their goals.
Bury him up to his neck, in the hot sun, next to the ant hill, tie a wet rawhide tightly around his head, and pour honey over him. That should teach him something.
I think it's cool that they refer to themselves as "Indians"
AIM denounces Churchill, yet Russell Means (a big wheel in AIM) defends him in the media, and he has his own band of AIM thugs round him to provide "security." AIM is trying to pull a John Kerry, straddling both sides of the fence.
Most people do not realize that they are free to put whatever they wish in any of the affirmative action boxes on forms they fill out. Your "race" or ethnicity is SELF DEFINED.
This is because you cannot have legally defined definitions of race without getting into Nazi like quibbles over how much "blood" you have from one group or another.
Of course, this is a way to completely defeat the whole affirmative action program, while degrading our honesty at the same time. But if you want to put down "Native American" as the box you check (which if you were born in America is demonstrably true), you can without any legal repercussions.
So, that checkbox is all that UC admin looks at to determine your qualifications for the job?
Sadly, for many institutions who are trying to meet affirmative action "goals", that box is the single most important qualifier.
Rusell Means is also a wife beater. Is that why he dropped out of the race to run for governor on New Mexico's Green Party ticket?
That sure would make interesting news copy, but I doubt the LSM would even touch it. They'd ignore it to the max.
people are basically over the whole race and special protection thing. it's a pet fetish of the elites only. everyday workaday people know that Americans are, despite pockets of hatred, about the most routinely tolerant people on the planet. if we weren't so concerned about the welfare of genuine victims, we never could have been fooled into thinking that so-called "civil rights" special class creation was necessary.
but we're tired of having our goodwill taken advantage of. the ward churchills, the al sharptons, the jesse and joe jacksons, the matthew shephard alarmists, the [insert notorious victim's activist's name here] of the world have played their last, piddling cards.
the game is up, shakedown artists. Americans of any and every color, and especially white male ones, have no more tears to cry.
Although it may look like AIM appears to be on both sides of a fence, they are not.
The post used to start this thread comes from the American Indian Movement Grand Governing Council on the Ministry for Information page. This is the original movement begun in the late 60's/early 70's after the occupation of Alcatraz Island.
The Autonomous group that Churchill affiliated himself with in Denver was started by Russell Means after his seperation from AIM. AIM posted a 1999 resolution regarding this from the same site as the original post here.

I dont speak for AIM but I hope this clears up any confusion.
That was supposed to be to PJ Comix but apparently I clicked the incorrect reply link. Regardless, I hope my post cleared up any confusion.
For starters, I'm sure he represented himself on his formal application for his current employment at the Univ. of Colorado, as a member of this minority group, knowing that it would get him some special affirmative action consideration. That alone constitutes a material misrepresentation on the application, which is grounds for termination by any employer I've ever heard of (and courts have always upheld this principle).
Surprised he didn't pass himself off as a phony Vietnam vet or Medal of Honor winner...as well...
That's strange about Russell Means! Didn't he support the new senator(GOP), Thune in the last election? I know he campaigned for him, and endorsed him over T. Daschle! I didn't know he was also running in another race at the same time in N.Mexico?
Sorry for the mistake -- Means was running as an Independent and not a Green. The year was 2002. The rest of my comment was correct -- he was not arrested for beating his dog.
Oh, I guess that's where the confusion came from! After I wrote that post; I went to look on David Yeagley's page: "Badeagle.com". They were talking about it quite a bit! You do know who David Yeagley (sp?)is do you? He wrote quite a bit for that magazine that David Horowitz writes for, "FrontPage Magazine", I think? It's a conservative magazine. But he DY has a website of his own now. And it's a discussion site for anyone; but he invites conservative Indians particularly, because he's a conservative Indian.
There aren't many discussion pages for them. He's got some really good articles on the site. They were discussing Churchill and Means on it the other night, and I think I understand it a bit better now(hopefully!).
