Trustees: 'Hands are tied'

Attorney says stopping mock gay weddings would violate students' free-speech rights:

Though some school board members said they may disagree with the simulated gay weddings a student club plans to hold today at Silverado High School, they must uphold the state and federal laws that allow it.

The board is bound by the laws in the Education Code, the Equal Access Act and rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a written statement from the district.

"Although my personal beliefs conflict with this event, I am still bound to support the Constitution of the United States," said Valerie Emick, president of the board.

Students of the Gay-Straight Alliance Club at the Victorville high school plan to hold simulated weddings between three couples, two females and one male, during today's two lunch periods.

The board of trustees received information from its attorney that to stop the simulated weddings would violate the students' free-speech rights.

Trustees Carl Tate and John Cordero also personally disagree with the event.

"I think it sends the wrong message to our students regardless of the religious beliefs they have," Tate said. "Unfortunately, our hands are tied by laws."

"One of the wonderful things about the Constitution of the United States is that it affords free speech for everyone regardless of whether that speech agrees with my personal views," Cordero said.

Trustees Mike Davis and Barbara Dew said they are neutral on holding the simulated same-sex ceremonies at the school.

"Even if I had an opinion I cannot say this is right or wrong," Dew said. "That way I don't offend people for what they believe."

Mike Davis recognized that this is an emotional issue.

"I respect all people's viewpoints," he said.

In a written statement the district also stated that the ceremony is not part of the district's board-approved curriculum.

The district will continue to monitor the event to ensure the safety of all its students and staff, according to the district's statement.

Students of the Gay-Straight Alliance Club

There should be an ExGay-Straight Alliance Club and hold mock weddings for those who have come out of their perversion.

"I use to not have anything against them but I am changing my mind."

Me, too. My sister is a lesbian and she's now very "live and let live" and has toned down her rhetoric over the years to a tolerable level. But, after reading many of the links here at FR, I am now convinced that there is a true "agenda" out there, and situations like these kids staging mock gay weddings are just a part of the whole.

The GSA club is the recruiting arm of GLSEN

(they have become savvy at hiding their names from e-news clipping services)

http://www.forthechildreninc.com has their number and their mission. GSA are for CHILDREN engaging in recreational sex.

the GSA DEAMNDS children experiment with "all out sex dates" and "don't knock gay sex until you try it."
THE SAME PEOPLE WHO ARE LISTED BELOW ARE THE EXACT SAME GROUP WHICH IS DOING THIS MOCK HOMOSEXUAL WEDDING!!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE USING THE SAME TECHNIQUES TO CULTIVATE CHILDREN INTO HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR AS CHILDMOLESTER DO TO CULTIVATE THEIR VICTIMS.

The Homosexual Movement in Massachusetts Schools

On March 25, 2000 the Massachusetts Departments of Education and Health teamed up with the national gay and lesbian group GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) and conducted a conference for school children and educators.  The conference was held under the guise of tolerance and safe schools.  However, as the Parent's Rights Coalition discovered, this conference was about teaching children the unsafe mechanics of homosexuality.  Following the conference, organizers denied claims of misconduct made by the Parent's Rights Coalition.  Organizers were forced to concede the truth after the Parent's Rights Coalition made public an audio recording from the conference, which substantiated their claims.  A free copy of the Parent's Rights Coalition audio tape can be obtained from the Massachusetts News web page.  Alternatively, if your computer is audio capable, then you may listen to the following 10 audio clips, in order, to hear the entire contents of the free audio tape.

A word of caution to parents:  These audio clips contain graphic sexual language and are not appropriate for children.  Note that these clips were created for the RealPlayer program.  If after clicking on the audio clips below you determine that the RealPlayer program in not on your system, you may be able to obtain a free copy of RealPlayer Basic under the Real home page located here.

Home>Homosexuality>Promoting Homosexuality in Vermont Schools>How To Make A Questioning Youth

GLBT ==> GLBTQ: A Recipe For Making A Questioning Youth

There are no doubt hundreds of ways to make a questioning youth when it comes to experimenting with sexuality.  A hand written questionnaire being circulated in Vermont public schools represents one recipe for accomplishing this task.  Here is that questionnaire (note: spelling, grammar, caps, and punctuation are exactly as shown on a copy of the questionnaire):

SOURCE VERIFIED BUT PROTECTED.  CIRCULATED AT MISSAQUOI UHS END OF MAY 2000.                                            PROBABLY BY GAY STUDENT GROUP

The Heterosexual Questionaire

  1. what do you think caused your Heterosexuality?

  2. when and how did you decide that you were heterosexual?

  3. is it possible your heterosexuality is just a phase you may/not grow out of?

  4. is it possible your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?

  5. if you've never slept with a person of the same sex, it is possible that all you need is a good gay/lesbian lover?

  6. to whom did you disclose your heterosexual tendencies?  how did they react?

  7. why do heterosexuals feel compelled to seduce others into that lifestyle?

  8. why do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality?  why can't you just be who you are and keep quiet about it?

  9. a disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexual.  do you consider it safe to expose your child to a heterosexual teacher?

  10. with all the societal support marriage receives, divorce rates are spiraling.  Why are there so few stable heterosexual relationships?

  11. why do heterosexual's place so much emphasis on sex?

  12. considering the menace of over population, how could the human race survive if everyone were a heterosexual?

Some Comments Regarding The Above Questionnaire

In these questions, you can see the so called alternative lifestyle being proposed to school children.  Aren't these questions an obvious attempt at creating a questioning youth by undermining the influence of their parents?  By the use of false assumptions, half truths, and outright distortions, the questioners are trying to "soften up" the children and bring them under the influence of homosexuals.

Questions 1-6:  These are attempts to shake students from their beliefs and bring about an attitude conversion embracing gay sexual practice.

Question 7:  Since the vast majority of heterosexuals are repulsed by the so called alternative lifestyle, it is highly unlikely that any would try to seduce a homosexual.

Question 8:  It is nature that flaunts heterosexuality.  It is the way a species survives.

Question 9:  The leading assumption does not pass the truth test.  Reliable studies have shown that proportionately, homosexuals have molested far more children than heterosexuals.  In fact,  homosexuals, which represent only 2 percent of the population, commit approximately 30 percent of all molestations.

Question 10:  The question is a defensive one trying to mask the instability of homosexual relationships as shown by their huge numbers of sexual partners.  In fact, studies show that the average male homosexual has 50 sex partners each year.

Question 11:  This again is a vain attempt to turn a good question around and face it in the wrong direction.  One only needs to listen to the audio recordings from the homosexuality how-to conference, held in Massachussetts on March 25, 2000 under the guise of 'tolerance and safety in schools' to see just who is putting the emphasis on sex.  Note, this conference was co-sponsored by the Departments of Education and Health along with the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) working together to advance the homosexual agenda.

Question 12:  To propose homosexuality in this way is lunacy.

Folks, it is a war out there and school kids are in the line of fire.  They are in harms way.

So now the parents need to band together and have a day dedicated to the dangers of homosexual behavior and how homosexuality is a choice of behavior not "born". (see also "born to paaaaarty")

Since their hands are "tied" (what no bondage club day? how cruel), they can not object.

In fact a date should be set before the actual fake marriage takes place.

As if they cared about free speech.

I assume recitation of Biblical versus would be "free speech" as well? Or "straight pride" rallies?

The groups intention is to promote awareness, acceptance and tolerance of same-sex marriage.

Used to be, all they asked for was tolerance. Now they want acceptance.

Will this simulated wedding include a clergy person? (Simulated or otherwise...) Wouldn't that be introducing religion into the school?

Then why can't the religious kids have "simulated" prayer groups?

The "Gay" StraightAliance club of the article is conected to a radical homosexual group called GLSEN. They hold themselves out as "education" based but are actually dedicated to the proposition that children must experience homosexual sex.

The GSA's are just recruiting arms. The are generally faculty supervised by a homosexual faculty member who is a homosexual. They tell the children to tell other children that the club is "cool" and everyone who is anyone is part of it. (see brown shirts, see also "the pink swastika")

It really is cultivating children for sexual molestation. It is all the same methods and tools as pedophiles cultivating children.

Did you happen to see ER yesterday? This show is turning into just another flaming lib, bash-Bush show.

The whole show revolved around Dr. Weaver finding her real mother. About midway through, Weaver reveals to her extremely religious mother that she is a lesbian. And then the Democratic talking points start flying. The episode ends with Weaver asking her mother if she can not only love her, but will she ACCEPT her. Otherwise, see ya!

Bet you can't guess what happened.

You are just seeing the tip of the iceberg. The homo-advocates are trying to head off, by their prediction, 15 more marriage amendments in 2006.

They will use the network TV programs to revile anyone opposed to homosexual marriage a religious wacko and praise all homo-marriages.

Look for major pushes on the "family friendly" shows to have happy joy joy homosexual couples. (7th heaven, etc.) Some of these so called family advocacy groups should start to push for an "H" encoded on all homo-centric programing. That ER episode (can't believe that is still on the air) should have been encoded with an "H" for V-Chip purposes. What if children were watching? unsuspecting children is probably what the homos wanted.

Being CA, I would assume the same would happen as happened here in MA. Free speech to these people on school boards, and the gay agenda, is one way only.

This is a short example of what happened here when we tried our right to free speech!

Article 8 Alliance Intercepted by State Police At “Freedom to Marry" Awards Presentation
By MassNews Staff
The Religious Coalition for the Freedom to Marry made it clear yesterday that their definition of “Freedom” does not include free speech, or any dissenting opinion from their particular agenda. Despite the fact that the event that was held in public at the Great Hall on Beacon Hill and was designated as an “open” event, State Police were out in force looking for individuals from Article 8 Alliance before it began. One member of Article 8 was confronted by an angry State Police officer who reportedly said: “I'm not taking any crap from you people. So get away right now or I'll throw your **s right out of this building."
The meeting was held to honor Sen. Marian Walsh, Rep. Marie St. Fleur, Episcopal Bishop Thomas Shaw, the Unitarian Universalist Association (accepted by UUA President Rev. William Sinkford), and Rabbi Daniel Judson. Walsh and St. Fleur (both Roman Catholics) were particularly honored for their opposition to their own churches teaching regarding same-sex marriage. (See related Globe Story).
During one of the presentations, some members of the Article 8 Alliance had signs in the windows behind the podium urging the overturning of the Goodridge decision. The signs were removed by State Police and the members escorted away.

The article about this event in the Globe was completely the opposite, as you can guess. It is linked if anyone cares to read it, from www.massnews.com

I have contacted the org. having to do with ratings, and the FCC, asking for an "H" rating. I would suggest others do the same. The V chip doesn't allow blocking unless a rating is on the program to begin with.

Regarding comment #24:

Now I've seen EVERYTHING!

I checked out forthechildren.com and read all about what GLSEN presented at "Fistgate" in 2000 at Tufts Univ. See letter from parent in attendance here. I also read the account at MassNews. I had no idea that homosex advocacy groups were this flagrant. I'm in a state of total shock.

I wonder if it's this bad in Texas.
