Well, At one point we reported a user and they were not deleted.. I guess IM(H)O the only way to get rid of trolls is to delete those 'moderate' rino's on this site also...
The dems can't help but post some sort of half-hearted moderate thought on these discussion forums. Trust me, I was a troll at DU for a while, and I couldn't stop myself from arguing with them while still trying to cover up my opinion as 'moderate'. Needless to say my act there was deleted.
If we get rid of all moderate voices the trolls would evaporate. This site should be strictly conservative..let other sites be moderate to conservative with numerous trolls running around. This one should not be. But that is just MHO

Getting rid of the moderate voices is counter-productive. Many of the trolls and sleepers have personnae as ultra-conseratives. There are long-time moderates here who are known to all of us and I have no problem with trusting them.
However, when some newbie starts spouting every conservative catch phrase in one paragraph, I become a tad suspicious...especially when those types try to get us to make phone calls, send insulting e-mails, etc.
It is helpful to realize that there are people on this forum who WANT to make the forum look like a bunch of creeps, and so post racist or otherwise incendiary posts.
At any rate, another rule should be not to let anyone stampede us into doing something we wouldn't normally do.

"If we get rid of all moderate voices the trolls would evaporate." What would be the point of an echo chamber?

It's easier for libs to pose as Paleos or anticorporate populists than moderates. That way they can be anti-war and anti-Walmart.
Many trolls are focused on steering Freepers into 3rd party votes. That's what I'd do if I trolled on DU.

I shouldn't say this because there are some DUmmies around, but the thing to do if you're trolling is to sound MORE left than they are. It's kind of fun if you can get the hang of it.
