I "googled" myself once out of curiosity.
GUYS....we could get a lot more done if you would just quit googling yourselves!
(Like I haven't done it, too!)

5. (Or whatever # we're up to by now) Keep tin foil hat very handy (seriously). It helps to be suspicious first and then be delighted when you find reasons you don't need to be.

The guidelines are good ones, I might add checking company policy and procedures, but my opinion is that if they write something that would get them fired the advice wouldn't help.
BTW It might be an urban legend, but I heard that the courts have ruled that overcharging for an item and then giving something away (i.e. the $20 condom) does not count as giving it away.

It is helpful to realize that there are people on this forum who WANT to make the forum look like a bunch of creeps, and so post racist or otherwise incendiary posts.
Amen to that. This is especially true for the "one issue" types.

Naturally. I have an old truism I use to remind myself of this: "The thief views the world through the eyes of locks and larceny."
Yeah, Laz. That' right.
Chad, did you steal my locks again?

Thanks for the ping Howlin. I think this is a very important thread.
I re-edited my homepage after figuring this out a while back. No information, other than your state should point to you there.
Those in a prominent position should be very discreet about what they post.

Thanks for the ping, BC. I have already pinged my lists here.

You can include a link on any day's Dose to threads such as this, no need to wait for that day's "author" to do it. Sometimes these things can fall through the cracks.

I don't really think that's called for. WTF did I come to FR for if it wasn't to voice my opinion? Not to have it picked at by yourself that's for sure.I would like to offer you a friendly point of clarification here. You can voice your opinion on FR. But remember, FR is not a forum for everyone and every opinion. It is a place for conservatives to meet and exchange ideas. If you are not a conservative and your opinion is liberal, then this is not the place for you. This is not the place for liberal vs conservative debate.
Also, no matter what you say on here, it is always subject to challenge. Your opinions will be "picked at" if people do not agree with what you say. That is the way it works here. Best Regards, BJN

AN ASIDE: Since the result of our poll says
"I OPPOSE open borders and illegal immigration" to the tune of 95%, I would be highly suspicious of the open border immigration folks like.....should I name names of these "disruptors?"
They are only 5% and yet they descend on every immigration thread en masse to flame and denigrate us all as racists and "unenlightened" in economics. Inreality, despite there longevity on FR, I am sure many are sleeper trolls and leftists.
You'd think they were half of our population but the poll says otherwise.
Also beware of sleepers on the Threat Matrix. Many are not who they claim to be. Thanks for the good post!

For every five trolls that get electrocuted on the front gate, one slips in successfully thru the back door.
Those are the ones you have to worry about. Just remember, if you suspect someone, look at their posts and ask yourself, "If I was trying to troll, would I say something like this?"
Challenge them. Ask questions.

Thank you, excellent advice. We've all noticed an influx of newbies between the election and exposure of the Rather fraud. It only makes sense that Old Media, DUers, Libs, would love to destroy the legitimacy of Free Republic. thanks, blessed; and I've noticed the influx as well....it also seems banned posters of FR would also like to see that happen.
