Some of the Far Left have launched an economic boycott centered around "buying blue." They'll do whatever they can to avoid commerce with companies that support Republicans or conservative causes- "red" companies.
Take a look at this long-winded post on DU to see how much time they waste on this. They're too busy chasing their own tails to really oppose conservatism:

Trials and Tribulations of Buying Blue. ARRrRRRrgggHHHh!!
I was trying to book travel to Florida using Expedia.com 95% Dem, 5% Repugnican
For some reason, Expedia didn't offer me any flights on JetBlue. 89% Dem, 11% Repugnican
So, I called JetBlue directly to book a package.
They told me to go through their agent, World Wide Travel Exchange. Phone 888-724-7927.
I spoke to the rep there and asked:
1) Is their company owned by someone else? She said no.
2) Could she please tell me the name of their CEO? I said it was because I wanted to make sure, before I book my travel, that their company doesn't donate to Republicans.
She said she didn't know who her CEO was. She put me on hold. Then she came back and said she was not authorized to tell me over the phone! WTF??
I told her that first of all, she should know who her boss is. Secondly, it's publicly available information, and I would find it for her.
3) I asked her if they had a web page. She said Yes. She pointed me to a link on the Jetblue.com: http://www.jetblue.com/wwte/default.asp
I pointed out that was not THEIR page, it was a sub-page on Jetblue.com
She said that was their ONLY web page.
So, as I spoke to her, I described the web searches I was doing.
I found World Wide Travel Exchange's REAL web page: http://www.wwte.com
I told her that she might want to write that down. It might be important for her to know what her company's web page is.
That provided very little information, except that it seemed WWTE isn't actually a travel agency, but a "call center solution." This was pretty much confirmed by my next search.
I found a press release from Fronteir Airlines: http://www.frontierairlines.com/news/articleDisplay.asp...
Frontierairlines.com Launches New Look and Services for the New Year (January 7, 2002)

I told her that her company is a division of Travelscape which is in turn owned by Expedia.com
I said that I was troubled she didn't know who owned her company, who her boss was, what their web page is, and who her boss is.
I told her to make sure she writes this all down. I repeated it three more times, slowly, and asked her to write it down.
I said I was also troubled by the fact that their parent company, Expedia.com, didn't offer service on one of their partners (Jet Blue).
In any case, I pointed out that if she had just TOLD me that Expedia (95% Dem, 5% Repugnican) owned her company, she would have saved us both from wasting 10 minutes of our lives, and I would have happily given them my business.
Instead, they have needlessly and senselessly pissed me off.
I asked her if she'd like me to look up who her CEO was, so she'd know the name of the person who pays her salary. She said that was OK.
So, I repeated back to her the other important information I thought she should write down. And then I wished her a good day and hung-up.
Must be hard for that guy to buy milk.
What a charmer. I don't know why this woman didn't hang up on him.
LOL! This is great PR for the Democrats! I bet if that woman was apolitical she's probably leaning towards the Republicans right now!
Their condescending attitude will really get them places. I honestly heard someone interviewed on a Boston news station after the Presidential election say, "When will the rest of the people in this country understand that we know what's right here?". Well, I'm sure that will make them better understood.
What a hateful little pi$$ant.
please. . .just 'do it'.
Hehe, this is a real treat to read! Come on, we have all known somebody like this. Well, I say power to them. They are going to be irritating and alienating any person they talk to, most people who get a call like this are going to think "Is this person for real???"
Of course, the answer is literally YES, but figuratively, NO!
The GOP HAS to put up someone with character, integrity and honesty (The ends don't justify the means.) to combat the Clinton slickness of pragmatism (The means justify the end.).
That gave me a headache.
These guys have truly lost their minds.
I guess the idiot stayed home? Wonder what kind of car they drive? A hyundi? a kia?
Like the booking agent really cared. At least the agent has a JOB.
Blimey. I wonder if he checks the voter registration card of the fellow at a hot dog stand.
Oh pardon me, he's probably a vegetarian. So long as the vegetables are organic. And not grown by a Republican. And the irrigation system was not from a firm run or owned by Republicans. But at least the fertiliser is more than likely to be purely from Democrats.
Regards, Ivan
What an ass... Typical liberal... do what I say or else.
I am going to say they ride a bike most of the time and when they have to drive a car they go for a hybrid, but my spidey sense is telling me they drive a navigator or an excursion.
