Appreciate this info... but without links or any means of verification, it will be difficult to use against him and his wacko supporters...
Well the student quote is here
http://rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_3525393,00.html
and someone with a Lexis Nexis will be able to get the Denver Post story.
I watched O'Reilly and he mentioned it too.
He also had a genuine American Indian professor on too, who said that he was promoting pro-US views and patriotism and he was dismissed, while Ward Churchill is inciting violence against the US and is being kept and paid.
I wish I remembered the name of this very intelligent, very reasonable professor.
Anyone else watched O'Reilly who remembers, it was something like Yeat***???
He is said to have lied about his resume...he's not a Native American, which was and is his reason for being named head of the ethnic dept. He should be fired. No question. And if it's proved he trained, aided and supported terrorists of any stripe, he should be arrested, tried, found guilty, and jailed.
No links becaue it was picked up from broadcast reports. The training the Weathermen was on O'Reilly; I picked up the remark about "the FBI got what it deserved" from Savage.

And I found this interesting item by going to the www.foxnews.com/oreilly site and searching "Churchill, Weathermen":
http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/2604.html
"In their gutsy 1988 book Agents of Repression, authors Ward Churchill and Jim Vander detailed how the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are political police similar to Hitler's SS, rounding up and jailing thousands of innocent people whenever US leaders feel politically exposed."
Another Nazi reference. This just gets better and better.
Still seeking links to the original article about the Weathermen that O'Reilly referenced.

Quoting O'Reilly from last night's memo:
"One more thing, Craig Silverman in Denver sent us a newspaper article dated January 18, 1987. In that article, The Denver Post says that Ward Churchill taught the Weathermen terrorist group how to make bombs and how to fire weapons, which those people did in the late 1960's.
If that's true, Churchill has even more problems and the FBI should step up its investigation. Hating your country is one thing. Training people to kill Americans is quite something else.
We're a tolerant society here, but some things cannot be tolerated."
Anyone know Craig Silverman?
