I remember when his son was murdered.
Him standing in front of the world, when asked about his son.
He was my Hero.
Brought me to tears.
Have always loved and respected his talent and morals.

I have most of his old albums, and hearing him tell stories about Ennis makes me cry. My favorite is "Kill That Boy," from Himself:
Camille tells him, "I want you to go upstairs and kill that boy," and he's all cool with it because he's not the one in trouble. So he goes up to Ennis's room to find the child on his bed, being punished for having cut his own hair.
Bill asks, "What happened to your hair?"
Ennis answers, "I don't know."
Bill says, "Son, was your head with you all day today?"
Ennis says, "Yep!"
Bill says, "Did you cut your hair?"
Ennis says, "Yes!"
Bill asks, "Well, why didn't you TELL me that?"
Ennis answers, "I don't KNOW!"

I wish he would use the talent and come back and produce another decent family comedy. There isn't anything I can watch with my kids that's a comedy.
