The only thing we buried the Nazis under was heavy metal and the rubble of their former cities.
We "defeated the Nazis" by killing their male population down to the age of about 12.
That's what we've been doing for the past 50 years. Look up and see how many billions of dollars of aid we send each year to dozens of Arab countries. Their leaders take the money whenever they can and use it to strengthen their armies or line their pockets. And those that receive the aid grin at the stupidity of a country that they hate to send aid to "the cause" of the holy war.
Look at Bosnia. My dad went there. He was there helping a Moslem people who were about to be eradicated by an ethnic cleansing. And there was no oil. Look at Somalia. We went there to feed Moslem people. And there was no oil... In fact, I dare you to go to a Moslem country, as I have been. Their hunger is not caused by us, but by sending them food, we make them think that we are the cause, and that we're trying to soothe a guilty mind. Saudi Arabia has some of the richest people on the planet, and yet they keep sending affluent, well fed young men to kill our civilians. They aren't attacking us because they are hungry, they are attacking us because we foster an environment that enables the ideas that foment the hatred. Ideas that you have just thoroughly examined in your naive ramble.
Tell me of one Moslem nation that has hunger that we don't send billions of dollars to. Tell me of one Moslem nation that has hunger who's leaders are not well fed. Tell me of one Moslem nation that sends terrorists to attack us that are not just as often well fed, affluent and educated. The problem is not a logistical one of feeding the people who are otherwise attacking us; hungry people don't attack, they nap or they look for food. The problem is an idealogical one, in which the people with the most leisure to ponder ideology tell the hungry people that the USA sucks and is the cause of all their problems, and primarily attract the idle well-fed youths to primary action. You could not be more off base.

Understood. I guess the person who originally sent the email was speaking of the green felt washer that often sits on the negative terminal of a car battery. But the sentiment is the same! :)
Actually, I had always wished that Ben Franklin had gone the other way when he chose which side to call negative and which side to call positive. I think electon theory would be simpler to understand if it was thought of as a positive pressure of electrons. Maybe the biggest mistake of his career.
