Bay state voters had two big issues to deal with in 2004 -- gay marriage and Senator John Kerry. In a 7News/Suffolk University poll, we learned two things...both hot topics are *so* last year. 7's Political Editor Andy Hiller explains. 7News/Suffolk University Poll
Remember all the protests surrounding the SJC's ruling making gay marriages legal in Massachusetts? Our poll says you won't see them again. Our exclusive 7News Suffolk University survey shows only 36% of state voters want to vote on the issue: 57% want to move on.
Professor David Paleologosm, Suffolk University Pollster "It's clear from the answer to this question that voters have had it with the issue; there are more important issues on the table, nothing significantly changed when it was implemented, voters are saying 'let's move on.'
Now move on to John Kerry
Sen. John Kerry, (D) Massachusetts "I'm not thinking about 2008 right now."
In 2008, Kerry can run for the Senate again...run for the White House again...or not run.
When we asked voters what Kerry should do, 39% said he should stay in the Senate. 35% said he should quit politics, and just 19% want a presidential re-run:
Professor David Paleologosm, Suffolk University Pollster "The numbers tell us that three-quarters of likely voters are saying that John Kerry shouldn't run for president, and if he seeks reelection to the senate, he may not win."
Another sign of Kerry's White House weakness: 51% of likely Democratic Primary voters here pick Hillary Clinton...34% Kerry...in a 2008 matchup.:
Professor David Paleologosm, Suffolk University Pollster "This is John Kerry's family, this is his base and they're telling him clearly that Hillary Clinton is a better choice in Massachusetts than John Kerry."
Sen. John Kerry, (D) Massachusetts "There are any number of potential things that I may wind up doing, and I'm going to keep all my options open."
Before John Kerry picks an option, state voters will pick the next governor.
lying traitor ping
Sorry, John. If you were planning to dump Teresa and marry that beer queen in Mexico so you can move up to $1.5 billion, she's already taken.
John maybe if you sign form 180 your numbers will increase? /not
Polling liberal Dems is a waste of time, when it comes to THEIR PREFERENCES.....they will vote for whomever the DNC sets up for 2008, even if it was Darth Vader or Joseph Stalin...makes no difference at all, as long as the candidate says "DEMOCRAT" on the label.
and proposes a socialist agenda to revitalize the poor and impoverished while making the upper middle class and up voiceless.
As Democrats consider Ted Kennedy their best spokesman I continue to laugh out loud!
"Professor David Paleologosm"
Huh? You gotta be kiddin' me.

Aren't they a disgusting lot? These twisted souls are pathetic when they have to conger up a drunken reprobate with zero class and integrity, to be their mainline hatchet man....the dregs of the country.

The last dynasty that ruled the Byzantine Empire (1261-1453) were the Palaeologoi...this may be just a variant spelling. (There was a French family named Paleologue at one point, perhaps descendants, but I don't know if there are still living members.) Whether David Paleologos claims descent from the Byzantine Emperors, I don't know.
Now that is a nice thought to take to bed tonight!
Nah - after a Presidential run I don't think even 7% of people could actually say "John who?"
I'm guessing the other 7% said "Get sent to prison for treason". Yeah, those people are there, even in Taxachussets.

* Yup! But John will find some other poor girl, not poor poor but i mean rich, poor in self esteem, right Tereeeza?
I believe your right!!!
I would think that the ae in Palaeologoi is a variant spelling of a diphthong, like esthete and aesthete. And although my Greek is nil, I think the -oi ending is simply the Greek plural of -os.
