"Only those who think we should be fighting a more sensitive War on Terrorism have concerns about the General's comments.
The rest of us agree with the General."
No, your statement is not entirely true. Perhaps it covers most of the posters at FR, but not all posters at FR.
I don't think we should be fighting a more sensitive war on terrorism in any way. I think this fighting man should watch how he says things when he isn't on the battlefield or training young warriors.
I don't think killing anyone should become "fun". Talking about it may be "fun", and people may enjoy lobbing word bombs occasionally, but the killing of another human being should never be "fun". So, those of us who think the man has one big mouth and loves to show off should leave our opinions at the door lest we be labeled as undesirables? Fine...it will be a pleasure.

Do you have a career? Do you enjoy your career? Why doesn't the General have the right to enjoy his career?
Like it or not, civilization needs warriors. Always has. Always will.

"All I feel when I kill, is the recoil of my rifle."
War is hell and those of us who have participated have the right to say things like the General, in what ever forum we choose, and you have the right to respond in kind.
